dmzamora I was on 6.1.16 before. Now 6.2.3 with Led Sync disabled the settings tabs "Appearance LED" and "Thermal LED", leaving me without any control over the backplate and temperature LEDs of my 1080 Ti FTW3.
Thanks, EVGA :/
You have to make sure LEDSync is closed entirely, also in the systemtray, before you can access those two tabs inside Precision XOC again.

Which model you have? Some models can't have the LED changed because come with only the white led. Here's the complete list and specification on which one have RGB and which have White led (open image on a new tab for better viewing)

Okay I have a couple questions! ...SO I Just bought the 240mm clc for my build to go along with my ftw3 ... Is it just me or has this issue with Flow and precision interfering with each other not been fixed? I still have the same issues people were talking about here at the beginning of November! I am running latest windows 10 updates etc... If I have LED sync active my flow control just tells me No device detected when I try opening it! ..If i go down and close LED sync then It allows me to open flow control! Also to, Is there a way to fix my FTW3 gpu and my CLC not syncing anywhere close to as perfect as the pictures in the first post of this thread? If I have them on rainbow or changing colors they are no where near synced with eachother like they are in the video you guys put on youtube! It seems like my cooler is always a little bit behind my graphics card! The graphics card always goes to the next color before the cooler does, its like the cooler is always trying to catch up, making it look terrible and pretty much defeating the purpose for me anyways of going with the EVGA cooler over the other options! ...now the second part of my question! i just upgraded to the 7800x and need a x299 board to stick it in! I am considering the FTW-K but am a little worried about adding Eleet software into the mix with the problems Im already having with Flow and Precision! Is Eleet the only way to control the RGBs on the FTW board? and is there a way to sync all 3 my gpu, cooler, and mobo together? ...I really like the looks of the ftwk and love the idea of sticking to EVGA for my hardware but dont know what to expect out of this since they are still new and no reviews of these boards yet! Thanks in advance for any answers/suggestions!

thanks Pietro i checked that list my card has white LED, FRAK!!! I wanted RGB. I was one of the people that had my card Replaced because of the thermal issue. My LED's did work when i got my card. this might be the box from the replacement card not my original card.

Hi, I had the same issue when using Precision tool that fans dont spin up.. I think if u disabled auto on and then leave fan speed on 0.. or something. I got same, my card got 91degres hot and still fans stayed 0rpm. When i then closed precision or put back on auto.. it was ok. So yes seems dangerous.. best to use overlay when gaming. A new feature would be: 2 fan curves.. one when the card gets hotter(and goes from2d to 3d) and one when card goes from 3D to 2D.. then it stops at 40degres... i want it do keep spinning till my card gets 31 degres. My 1080ti SC gaming boosts default to 1987Mhz or 1977Mhz.. which is really great. Temps stay at 72degres. Got a lot of case fans. very pleased.

I have the 280mm EVGA AIO cooler and a 1080 FTW2 graphics card. I downloaded both Precision OC and Flow Control software. Here's the issues I've noted with the software: Once you run Precision OC and it loads LED Sync, the Flow Control software no longer has control over the cooler RGB lighting. Even if you turn of the CLC in LED Sync, you still cannot control the CLC with Flow Control software. The CPU temperature doesn't display in Flow Control. CPU temp doesn't appear in the graphs page either. In the Flow Control software, you cannot select anything related to CPU temperature, or it will immediately crash the program. Hard limits are programmed into the minimum and maximum temperatures of the cooler fan table, and the upper limit is probably too low at 60C. If CLC is turned on in LED Sync, and the computer is restarted, you cannot open up Flow Control software. It will say it's missing, or something like that. You have to disable it in Precision OC first, and maybe even reload the drivers or reinstall. It's really annoying that LED Sync starts at each computer startup, and then has to be minimized by hand. I don't mind that it starts with the computer, but it gets old having to minimize it. When I'm sitting there idling the computer for a while, I guess I'm bumping up against the first threshold for increasing fan speed. But it's not a mild increase. The fan greatly increases RPM, usually for about 1 second, then goes right back down. Sometimes it will run for 5 or 10 seconds before slowing back down. I assume I'm tickling the lower edge of the next fan speed threshold. But it's such a drastic noise difference that it reminds me of someone revving their engine at you at a stop light. It literally sounds like a truck engine (with a mechanical clutch fan) revving the engine hard for a second or two, every time the fan ramps up from it's idle speed. I also think it's a huge mistake not to coordinate with ASUS on the RGB controls, and let Asus Aura software control the graphics cars and CLC cooler.

I should also note that I don't like that I can set up a fan curve (somewhat), but not a water pump RPM curve. So if I want to slow the pump RPM down at idle, I'm also stuck slowing it down at all times as far as I know. I would also like to see CPU temp, GPU temp, CLC water temp, CLC water pump RPM, and individual CLC fan RPMs all in the Flow Control software.

LED Sync has caused a few issues for me. It links my 1080 FTW Hybrid and the H115i nicely, but other issues arise. Ive disabled it cause it isnt worth the issues. Im experiencing: 1) Lose monitoring and control of H115i. Not sure if fan curve is being used and cant switch profiles through tray. 2) Corsair CUE2 connectivity issues with my keyboard and mouse. 3) Corsair Link4 connectivity issues with the H115i. Same as Line 1. Link4 can see everything else, even my 1080, but cannot see the CPU Cooler. 4) Performance issues in-game. +Constant stutter in normal games. Subtle, but there and noticeable. +Constant lag and stutter in VR. More than subtle, makes me sick. Would be nice to have one controller for my mother board, gpu, cpu cooler, keyboard, mouse, fan and case lights to all sync... but I guess its 4 different programs to control them all. One controller would be nice. This should become an industry standard, and controlled by the motherboard manufacturer's software, in my opinion.

Came here after googling, I can't believe in this day and age a company would make a tool that has the feature to turn on autolaunch on Windows, but nothing controlling the application launching in a minimized state. Having to close/minimize the LedSync.exe tol every Windows boot is just silly. Everything else I have seen with the product is pretty polished, was surprised on this.. Tried to see if it would accept some type of command line option to launch in a minimized state, or a shortcut link with minimized as a setting. Nothing works.

Hi there! Just received my 1080 FTW2 , and the LED's are changing just fine through the 'LED Sync' applet, however, I can't get the LED's to change color with the temperature of the card, even when I have "Thermal LED TEMP Color" enabled. in fact, I can't get the squares next to the temperature to be anything but black. Any advice? This is my first time using a card with LED's on it.

Click on where it says LED OFF to turn the LEDS ON...
Thanks, I can't believe I didn't see that button--however--clicking that does not turn the LED's on the card on or off. it looks like I can only change the colors / modes to the presets in LED Sync, and cannot change the colors from the regular menu (to use the Thermal LED Temp color option) This is true even when I restart my pc, and turn off LED Sync, and only try to set the color with the regular menu.

The thermal led menu only affects the colors of the g/p/m leds, it doesn't affect the other leds on the card. To disable the g/p/m leds you must set all the "temp colors" on the thermal led menu to black.

Ah, I didn't know that those LED's existed! The more you know. That all makes sense now. Is there no way as of yet to apply a dynamic color to the rest of the LED's?

On the appearance led menu you can set "evga logo led" to rainbow to make the card constantly change colors.

I just tested here with a 1080 Ti FTW3, and here's what you have to do: Open PXOC. Open the LED Sync. Close the LED Sync first by clicking X, then right click and close it in the system tray (task manager is not needed). Open the Option tab in PXOC, and you'll see the options for Appearance and Thermal available now. Make your changes for your backplate and thermal sensors. Close the option tab and open the LED Sync. Setup your Sync, and the backplate and GPM should remain the same as what you set in Step 5 (unless you pick Follow Badge Color...for obvious reasons). This fixed it. I found this on the forums. Thanks Google! :P

I had the same problem, it won't let me change the color of the back plate RGB on my 1080TI FTW3 Hybrid on the latest build of XOC. Only solution I found was to roll back to a older build. I'm running 6.1.16 and it's working fine and am able to sync the colors on both the front panel and back plate again. EDIT: I just did what barch posted above and it worked. Seems there are some bugs in the latest build of XOC that need sorting. When you have LED Sync active, there is no way to select the appearance LED tab in the options menu.

Is it possible to launch LEDSync minimized or at least have your effect saved into the card so we don't have to launch LEDSync every time? It is causing a UAC notification every single time my Windows loads that LEDSync wants to make changes to my system which is really frustrating. I would just like the rainbow mode to happen as soon as it logs in. My computer also would never shut down until I uninstalled XOC completely Seems a lot of us are having problems with this software, I hope EVGA updates it...

Why is this different for you? The lighting effect does not get saved to my 1080 FTW, it starts off as default white LED while BIOS posts. Only after Windows 10 logon does LEDSync auto-launch (with the annoying UAC notification every time) and then the rainbow mode loads. Im using the latest XOC, maybe thats why? Do you have any tips for me? Thanks

My card has extra mcu's to remember the lighting effects. I'm using a 1080 ti kingpin. Best advice I could give you would be to disable uac... https://www.howtogeek.com...-way-on-windows-vista/

Sorry, but I will not disable UAC's protection simply to allow a LED program to run. This software should be programmed to run without UAC's notifications after you allow it the first time. I am a little surprised a moderator here would recommend disabling an important security feature of the OS entirely for aesthetic purposes. Thanks anyways
