All of your bios for the kingpin card can be found here https://xdevs.com/guide/2080ti_kpe/ To my knowledge none of the bios have changed from the original bios. Only the firmware has changed a few times. The newest firmware can be flashed by downloading the newest PX1 software. Open PX1, in the lower right corner click the little circle beside the version, when the window opens click update, when that window opens the newest firmware for the 2080ti kingpin is E200_FA42

Temperature is a lot better. Minus 4 degrees Celsius in the 2 hour stress test. To place the radiator outside has brought another 8 degrees.

My first time posting here, although long time EVGA customer. Apologies if this has been answered before but, I wasn't able to find it in the forums. I purchased the Kingpin a few weeks ago and it is fantastic. The past few days I've been trying to load a custom picture on the OLED with no success. I'm able to create an image within the X1 requirements and the image shows successfully in the Custom [1,2,3] box in X1. However when I apply the Custom [1.2.3] image to my card all I get is a solid white-ish OLED screen. I've tried various images, pure B&W, greyscale, diferrent bitmaps and types with no success. I have both the latest formware update and X1 software. I even tried rolling back to earlier versions. All of the X1 OLED default images work fine. Has anyone been able to display a custom picture other than what comes with the X1 software? If so, can you share with me either the image or the specs (type, size, etc).? Appreciate any guidance the community may have!

Yeah i just tried it by doing this. I downloaded an image, then went to this website http://www.resizemypicture.com and loaded the image, then resized it to 256x64 then saved it to my computer. Opened PX1, loaded the image in custom image 1 slot and it worked fine.

Thanks dwexpress! I suspect I must then have a dud. :-/ I tried those steps and my OLED still just shows a white blank screen when I use a custom image. Obviously not why I bought the card but, would be nice to have that capability nevertheless. Appreciate the swift response and for posting the photo of it working.

I was able to mess around today for a bit and move a little in the Hall of Fame. #22 Port Royal http://www.3dmark.com/pr/159242 Managed to keep it cool enough to go +244 core clock (2325 MHz) and +1500 memory (2125 MHz) kept the temp at about 30C during the test.

I just picked up a 2080 Ti K|NGP|N to replace my 1080Ti one and was wondering how the stock cooler compared to the HydroCopper block. My current card is part of a full loop but I'd rather not spend $300 on a full block if the AIO performs on par to a custom solution. Thoughts from people who have tried both?

Unless you really plan on some serious overclocks and hard benchmarking there is no need for the hydro copper block. The stock AIO is very good for gaming and normal stuff. If you want a bit more cooling just make it a push/pull on the fans and then you can also flash the ln2 bios into one of the other bios positions and then get more fan rpms as well but maintain the safety protection. https://xdevs.com/guide/2080ti_kpe/

I think no reason to use Hydro Copper block... I mean I would probably invest in waterblock but maybe not immediately. Because I keep graphic cards longer maybe I would wait to price drop. Just because visual experience. But temps I saw here on Hydro are perfect. And K|NGP|N card is beautifull, always is good to keep first in original condition.

I see they have now removed the Hydro Copper block for the 2080ti Kingpin from the products page as of today, it was still there a couple days ago but was out of stock. I would imagine they are just about done with the Kingpin production and just letting them sell out as well and not going to make any more. Of course this is only speculation.

I’m guessing you’re correct. Tbh I’m surprised the cards themselves have been available for this long. It’s been a good 7 months, give or take. I was guessing the production run would have been a lot shorter due to the quality of chips needed for the KP

I ended up getting another kingpin a month or so ago and the serial number was still only in the 700's

Guess it would be nice if evga would give a warning before cutting off a product for those that plan on buying something at a later date. Shouldn't be too much to ask.

The 3rd card is only for back-up in case i fry one of the others, ive been pushing one of them pretty hard using the XOC bios, they can really take a beating with the voltage increases and OC capabilities, i'm impressed.

I know I saw the Kingpin HC's for sale yesterday with a $50 discount. Unless they moved that stock elsewhere, it's possible it was just one left. I wish there was a stock indicator per product to give consumers a heads up like some places do. (PCS comes to mind.)
They did have some issues with their stream and some people's home were near the fires so it's been chaotic in that part of the world.
