Going to be trying to front mount this in a 280x, I've got a 240mm rad at the top for the CPU AIO already so it's going to be a toight fit.  Would like to do the FTW3 ultra hybrid but not sure if it'll fit.  I'm more confident that the xc3 ultra hybrid would though as it's both shorter and thinner. The tubes poking straight out might push up against the glass I think.  

Yes you can add it to your existing loop if you want to. That being said make sure you have plenty of cooling capacity as far as radiators and such

My guess is it will be announced via Twitter...my hope is that Elite will get a chance to get in line first. 

I also set up a Monitor to get a notification when the shop page updates.

I want the new Hybrid card BUT the double 240mm RAD prevents me from installing in my case.  Why did they go away from the single 120mm rad, it fit nicely in the back fan position?  And I currently use my AIO 240 up top for my CPU.

A 120mm rad would not be enough to cool the card. That is why they went with a 240mm. I had to modify my layout a bit with spacers and offsets (also used some melding plates) to move my fans just slightly in order to fit a 240mm rad on top with a 360mm rad up front. My recommendation if you really want the hybrid...get creative or get a new case.

Looks like the "Coming in December" has been removed altogether on the pages here on my end. This does not inspire hope.

if you're referring to the hydrocopper, I saw jacob respond via twitter to this question. He said it's undetermined. Seems unlikely.

Can't wait to get my hands on a EVGA 3080 Hybrid, but I'm really hoping we get a different cover plate for the front-side.  I like having my video cards vertical or standing up in my cases, and this card has nothing--no flair, RGB's etc on the front side.

Did the Hybrid kits (w/out the card) go on sale and sell out already? Because I clicked the auto notify button the same hour they popped up on the site and now I'm not seeing the button anymore or the "this product begins shipping in December" tidbit. Just want to make sure I didn't miss out as my 3090 XC3 just runs way too hot (and loud) for my liking. Also, does the queue based system still apply for the hybrid kits? And if they haven't gone on sale yet, any idea on when they do? Thanks in advance!

They should have explained it like that, rather then; coming in December. EVGA is learning well how to screw up like NVIDIA.

I don't know if that's the actual reason for it, I'm just guessing at this point. The whole HC and hybrid release has definitely been a huge mess so far, and it doesn't seem to be getting much better.

With no auto notify on the HC FTW3 3090, are we just out of luck if we didn't end up on that list?

Look at this, as I said; it's another Nvidia mess, but EVGA doesn't care; just like Nvidia as long as they get their money.  If the list I saw for the Kingpin, 71; and how many people are demanding these cards, probably over 500. 
Smart is not chasing a graphics card which may not become easily available until well into 2021; or buy a previous generation. I've said it in other posts; it's bull**** plain and simple.  The excuse that we can't get enough card or boards, is a dumb excuse.  You can say; EVGA can't get the supply, they choose not too, there is enough. And if you say, I got my card; you're just talking like this cause you got a card so who cares about everyone else.

On launch when site kept crashing, they implemented new measures, they opened to elite members only, and finally the Notify system. The fact that they don't have them on hand, that's just how it is. Patiently wait or go support a scalper if you're that desperate, but berating a company (EVGA specifically) that has tried to implement measures to help its customers is just not helpful.
