When can we reasonably expect to see these on the EU store? Like the rest of the lineup around 2022?

It's looking more and more like I'm gonna actually buy an amd gpu this year... nvidia/evga have really dropped the ball. Quite pathetic tbh.

You seem to have missed that the EU queue is already up and running. I signed up for notify right on release day and my FTW is going to arrive next tuesday. So probably a couple of weeks after the notify has been enabled there for the HC/Hybrid too. Just an estimation tho.

Aside from compatibility with their respective cards, are the XC3 and FTW3 Hybrid kits the same in terms of performance? Ie. the XC3 block/pump/rad is the same as that in the FTW3, minus RGB fans?

Check my post here to see what differences I noticed so far.  Everything else looks to be the same.  Just different fans and shroud size of course.

I'm thinking the differences in the FTW3/xc3 hybrids is mostly in the air cooled part of it (VRM Vram and such), and the water cooled-GPU cooled part is more or less the same.

Anyone have thoughts on how difficult it is to install one of these hybrid kits?
I love my 3090 FTW3 Ultra, but I don't necessarily love the fan noise compared to my Kingpin 2080 Ti.
I have never taken a card apart before, nor have I installed a hybrid kit like these. Is it difficult? My biggest concern is dealing with the bracket around the die, as well as the wires coming from the PCB (FTW3 has a few as far as I know).

Edit: And do we know if the 3090 kit has a solution for the memory modules on the back of the PCB?

So no stand alone HC GPU waterblock at all? I am not getting the Hybrid since it will not work in my case when I have 2 360 Rad, pump/reservoir combo in my case.

Wait, so did the standalone kits become available today and sell out? or has it just been on notify. Does anyone know

The standalone has a notify queue won't be shipping til December 7th.

The cards do not, yet.

They're coming, just not on the store yet, they are prioritizing HC blocks on cards right now.

Really want to know how long the tubing is cause every AIO i have or have seen are like an inch to an inch and a half too short to just bearly fit in most cases without it being top mounted

Disappointed there's no hybrid option with a 140mm radiator. I wanted something to replace my 1080 hybrid. I can't fit another 240mm radiator into my case without (another) complete overhaul.

That's correct.  The tubing length is 400mm long.

I'm pretty sure Jayztwocents (or Linus?) did a test with rad sizes and found that the 140 kept a 3090 FE card (370W?) about the same temperature as the stock cooler. So, my guess is that you might as well keep the stock heatsink assembly if you wanted to use a 140 radiator.

I've never done more than plug-in an air-cooled GPU and run it under stock settings.  This Christmas I'm putting a gaming system together with my son and earlier this week was able to purchase a XC3 Ultra through the notify queue.  I think he will be interested in tweaking the card just for the overclocking experience.

My question is, will there be any overclocking benefits for a XC3 with the hybrid kit installed?  I get that the card will run cooler, but from what I've read, it seems like the XC3 is power limited before its temperature limited.  Am I likely to see any performance boost?

then they haven't changed anything that is standard tube length

i am just not sure how well it will fit in 011 dynamic xl side panel from what i could see and test with my 360, not very well or not be in optimal orination for an AIO

Yes. The XC3 drops frequency bins more than the FTW3 does because of temperature, and the XC3 runs a lot warmer than the FTW3 due to a smaller heatsink.

With that said, it's not going to be a huge difference and silicon lottery still plays a big role. But the card will run cooler, and it will be a fun new challenge project for a father and son.

Just don't mount the pump above the radiator! A good explanation is here, and worth a watch: https://youtu.be/BbGomv195sk

I think Linus did one video testing the new cards with 120/240/&360mm open loop configurations (only on the GPU). Big jump in cooling between 120mm and 240. Not that much between 240 & 360, but allows lower fan speeds.

There's no way a 140mm radiator could keep this thing cooler most likely.  Even with a 240mm I anticipate them running a weebit warmer than any other previous Hybrid card... I hope I'm wrong, but we'll see whenever I get one & put it in Push/Pull with EK Vardars lol

I've never bought the kit by itself before, but apparently they come with "everything you need" to install them, which must include pads etc.
