Help EVGA! Buying an RTX 3080 has proven extremely difficult in the retail sector unless you want to pay over 2,000 dollars minimum for a card.
My last hope is the 3888 Hybrid Queue! Here's my order information for the spreadsheet. I'm really glad EVGA decided to do this because this situation has gotten worse.

Unfortunately the 3888's havent moved since before Christmas.. which is leading me to believe that they wont move until the price goes up on april 16th.

Yeah I was sort of thinking the same thing. I don’t mind paying a little bit extra but it’s still unfortunate. As long as it’s not more than the 3090 MSRP I’m happy. I hope we hear something soon!

Yeah. I think I agree. I ran Noctua fans on my 2080ti hybrid and problem was solved. Plus, since I don't intend on using the LEDs, it will eliminate another set of non-aesthetically pleasing cords the OEMs require for LED power. Would a screw in type temp sensor pick up correct temperature from top of a reservoir even without directly touching liquid?
Wanted to know since the pump I picked has feed and return on bottom at the pump and I can get a top cap with a port

I use a Y split for water temps in my loop, the length of the splitter and probe puts the probe I have on the edge of the main flow. It seems to be accurate, but I have no way to verify. I don't think you would get an accurate reading unless you had the probe in the water, as close to the flow as you can.

would having the temp sensors read water into and out of GPU itself alone be a good idea? 3080 HC FTW will pull up to 500w compared to my 5800x pulling like 140-150w, so most of the heat will be there anyways, and the HC has 3 in ports and 3 out ports on it so perfect spot to put the temp probes, unless they plug up the waterflow?

That should work, there is very minimal difference in temps between the coldest and hottest parts of the water flow because of the water's massive thermal capacity. A number of tech tubers have done videos showing that loop order has no real effect because the water should be flowing to fast to allow it to heat up much in a block.
