Been following your queue summary for a while Newt. I've been waiting for 3898 for a while now and am just so disappointed with other queue moving minutes at a time and the ftw3 hybrid moving only a few seconds per update. Ugh.

Thanks for following the summary; I hope it is helpful.  If I could make the queues move more equitably, I would...but, alas, I am but a gamer waiting for his own card to become available.

Best of luck in your continued hunt.

Yeah sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like there's blame on you or anything. Your queue is most helpful. Just frustrating after 3 months, and only being 5 minutes into the 3898 queue.

I got my 3080 Hybrid yesterday and it was worth the wait. Hang in there and good luck everyone!

/edit cleaned up the post a bit to be more nice :) I am just grateful that EVGA produces these products for us and are doing their best to get them out. Thank you EVGA!

Hi,
is there an update, when we can get the Hydro Copper Waterblock for the 3090 ftw3 separate?
I ask especially for Europe, would be nice if @jacobf could give some information.

Any word when the rest of us could sign up for 3080 ftw3 HC notify list? I hoped it'd become available when the drops started

If the past is precedent, EVGA will relight the auto-notify when they near completing service to the first tranche.  That is how they handled the transition from the first tranche to the second tranche for the Hybrids and the Kingpin.

Btw it's my first time, I will prob be limited to gpu only for initial loop build, I have a lian li o11d xl case and was thinking of moving psu to top of back chamber, having my HDD cage below that, and putting a short Optimus pump/res below that
Is there a u shaped fitting, wanted to have a rad mounted on inner side mount with holes pointed into back compartment and using it for pre-cool before going to gpu which will then go to rad on bottom, and then return to res through gap below side rad. To make it work would need to make two 90 degree turns to go out of side rad to go to gpu in main compartment
This is my first time doing open loop cooling so any advice is appreciated:)

My brand of rad will be Hardware Labs SR2 for bottom with push pull, and GTS for side mount with push pull having rad and half fans inside back compartment and just other half fans inside main compartment
Edit- SR2 rad will be the multiport version so I can put in a drain line and valve, idk if I should have ports on back side of case and have a small line coming out and laying on bottom of case parallel to the rad so I can pull it out for draining

Yeah I wonder as well. Although I have faith in EVGA that whatever the issue was, they took the time to properly fix it

Singularity Protium D5 pump/res, and the typical Bitspower fittings. Pump/res was a little pricey, but definitely great quality.

Hmm.. Having trouble visualizing that without a diagram or something. But if you ask me, I'm one to just keep my loop runs as simple as possible, to preserve my own sanity

Probably. I think the GPU technically isn't powered on even though the power cables are high (otherwise it'd be heating up, and the LEDs would be on), but yeah there is definitely some portion of the board that would still be sensitive to a leak. I was just kind of feeling ballsy/lazy

Thanks. Took me a while to find these. Amazingly I randomly walked into a Microcenter looking for something else, saw a fully stocked shelf of these fans and immediately snatched a couple packs

Instead of side mount rad pointed to glass side point it the other way, one side hooked to pump that I'm putting behind the mobo tray and other port will make a u turn to go out to main compartment with everything you see

Oh I see it now. Yeah I don't see why that wouldn't work. I think it'd be much better to find a radiator that has ports on both sides, though. Something like an Alphacool XT45. That way you minimize the amount of 90 degree bends, which in turn would reduce loop restriction and increase your flow rate. Also reduces amount of fittings/cost, and would be more straightforward to assemble.. All good things IMO . There is actually quite a bit of radiator space on that side mount in the o11d xl. You're not restricted to a 30mm thick radiator like the hwlabs GTS

I was wanting to keep with one brand of radiators, and HL seems to be one of the best brands, problem is that alot of their stuff is out of stock XD
I just had my aunt order an SR2 for me for Basic loop, I have decided not to push my budget anymore then it will be with brand new loop.
my thought was a 3 power plug 3080 will put out a lot of heat and having the coolant go through a rad before hitting it would help keep temps down, but budget means I will only get one rad one pump/res and fittings and tubing for now, pump/res is from optimuspc.com, the 5.75 inch system so I can put it back behind the mobo mounted to the bottom or even the back of the case
while I am on the topic, Bitspower fittings are some of the best yes? What brand/material of tubing is up there in quality?

I can testify to EK's CoolStream radiators being pretty nice thus far.  The P360 I started out with was pretty great, and this XE 480mm (60mm thick) monster is apparently capable of 900+W of heat dissipation, so if I do end up blocking my card, it's supposed to be able to handle both no problem... I'll probably add the 360mm radiator back to the system then though, go CPU > 360 > GPU > 480 > res pump for complete & total overkill.

Soft tubing cuz I'm too chicken to do hardline.  10/16mm fittings & I believe the tubing is just standard EK duraclear 3/8th inch inner 5/8th inch outer diameter tubing.  It's from an EK Quantum P360 kit, I just changed the radiator to an XE-series 480mm cuz I got it for $153 shipped off Amazon (the radiator) and after seeing reviews on how well the 60mm-thickness handles heat load, I'm pretty confident it will handle a CPU & GPU in the same loop without any major issues.

I'll probably add the 360mm radiator back to the system then though, go CPU > 360 > GPU > 480 > res pump for complete & total overkill.

Have you heard of any news on the KPE HC Block?

Not a peep, which is very annoying at this point, HydroCoppers are moving for the regular 3090 & 3080 FTW3 SKUs, yet we've still heard nothing about when the Kingpin HydroCopper block/version of the card is finally going to be available.

Can't wait for the notify button to become available for the 3080 ftw3 HC. I have the hybrid version but will give that to a friend and finally get the HC version I've been waiting for with everyone else.

i'm going to predict the future for 3888.
we all going to pay the new prices for this model and that will be done in next year.
when it happens we all will see leaked posts of the Nvidia 4xxx models as well.
