PowerEagle Look at this, as I said; it's another Nvidia mess, but EVGA doesn't care; just like Nvidia as long as they get their money. If the list I saw for the Kingpin, 71; and how many people are demanding these cards, probably over 500. Smart is not chasing a graphics card which may not become easily available until well into 2021; or buy a previous generation. I've said it in other posts; it's bull**** plain and simple. The excuse that we can't get enough card or boards, is a dumb excuse. You can say; EVGA can't get the supply, they choose not too, there is enough. And if you say, I got my card; you're just talking like this cause you got a card so who cares about everyone else.
Since EVGA has implemented the notify and queue system for its cards, i don't see any issue or have any faults with what EVGA has done. They have done nothing but try and be transparent and open with their customers and work to get cards in customers hands and off ebay. On launch when site kept crashing, they implemented new measures, they opened to elite members only, and finally the Notify system. The fact that they don't have them on hand, that's just how it is. Patiently wait or go support a scalper if you're that desperate, but berating a company (EVGA specifically) that has tried to implement measures to help its customers is just not helpful.
Exactly, im pretty sure they are churning out cards as fast as possible. In this situation, where people are waiting to throw money at the first cards that can be bought, it would be irresponsible for a company to hold back production on purpose. In the end, they are here to make money, and that only works if the have a product to sell.

You’re mad and it shows and it’s understandable but this is clouding your judgement. Evga has been very open compared to other AIBs. Implemented measures such as hand reviewing orders, anti bot strategies, notify queues etc. If they don’t have the parts they can’t build the product now can they ?.
I’m pissed at being not able to order a 3080 since mid september but that doesn’t give me the right to trash EVGA at every occasion.

They could just let the queue continue to at least gauge how many people want one. Or put out member only polls. I never saw more than 10 hybrids for the 1080TI's available to order online in my province. Really screws over people who don't live anywhere near a physical computer shop.

Polls maybe, but I don't know about another loooooooooooong queue like what happened with the air cooled cards. The queues are taking so long just to get beyond launch day that people will get cards elsewhere in the mean time. At some point, demand will fall but there will still be a lot of time stamps that people won't bother to cancel. What EVGA should do is periodically send a "Still interested?" email, and if there is no response within 48 hours, or something like that, cancel the auto-notify. With the hybrids, I'm concerned that EVGA doesn't plan on making enough of them to satisfy demand. I am going to cancel my time stamp for a 3897 because I don't want an air cooled card. I am only about 2.5 hours away in the queue from a 3897 and was probably looking at getting one by the first or second week of December, but I don't mind waiting as long as I know I will get a card at some point. If I get in a queue for a 3899 that has me waiting until March, fine. I just want to know that a card is coming my way at some point. What I see happening though are queues that only stay open for about 45-50 seconds because there are a limited number of spots and they fill up right away. If that's what we are going to see with the hybrids it's going to suck. I have to work and can't sit at the computer all day monitoring Jacob's Twitter feed. Next thing we know they will announce a lottery system and I never get lucky with those. EVER.

My guy, it’s been told like 999 times already and the info is everywhere. Once the initial batch of hybrid arrives, EVGA will bring back the “notify” button and the same queue system will apply like the air cooled version. Have an eye out for early december 2020.

There's no point to sending a "Still interested" email, and waiting 48 hours because there already is an 8 hour window in which if you don't buy after the email is sent it is released back into the queue for someone else. What your proposing would make the wait longer lol

Let me rephrase. I meant send the "still interested" email well before the time stamp comes up. The idea is to clean up the queue by removing people who are no longer interested for whatever reason. Don't count on people removing themselves if they get a card somewhere else, or just plain forget because it has been so long. I have a feeling that once the queue for the 3080 FTW Ultra gets past 9/17 and 9/18 the percentage of non-replies will start to increase. It just means more leftovers and people having to wait extra days/weeks because the empty spaces in front of them get their 8 hours to decide. Remember that it has usually been taking two business days for leftovers to appear. If you get multiple non-replies for a card you can see how it would slow things down and keep them out of the hands of people who want them. If the queue started a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't be suggesting this, but it has been over two months since the 3080 launch day and the queue has barely been touched. It doesn't even look like it will get through 9/18 by the end of the year. I saw the excel sheet before it was vandalized and there were a lot of 9/18 time stamps. Not as many as 9/17, but there were still a lot. It started to go down pretty quickly after that, but at the rate this is going it will take a while to get through the first two days. Hence my desire to speed up the process.

Thanks. I vaguely remember Jacob mentioning something about it. I was focused on the 3897 queue until recently and missed where it was said that the auto-notify button will be static. I saw what happened with the kingpin and hope to avoid that scenario.

When are the kits for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra going to actually be available? Might put one under water if I get one that really can OC well and lasts on air... One that would be worth doing it I mean...
None of them are worth overclocking,no matter the AIB in Q, to my eyes, get the cheapest one you can. I have 4 eVGA cards, including a 2080Super FTW3 Ultra that does 2208/8500 and over stock 1845 the FPS lift is little. My eVGA 3080 XC3 Ultra does just as well undervolted at 0.873 at 1880/9900 as I only lose between 2-3% in benchs and dyck measuring contests. Save your cash, get a less $$$ model 3080. Just my 2 cents, you may need change.

400mm / 15.75in. See: https://www.evga.com/supp...tails.aspx?faqid=59636
Last Update: 2019/04/24 --> no guarantee that the new models have the same tubing.

This was my assumption since the last few models have all been 400mm long.

Not 100% sure, but I believe it will set through Precision X1... but if you don't want Precision X1, I imagine it's like most of their gear where you can install Precision, set the LED how you want them, then uninstall Precision and the LED settings will stay.

The bigger problem will probably be getting that many cards in the first place

Nope. EVGA only offering the 240mm for the Hybrids (or 360mm for the K|ngP|ns). TDP is high for these cards, a single 120mm radiator would not do it justice. I'd say go custom loop instead, but trying to find a GPU block for many of these cards is impossible - they don't even exist yet for the FTW3 models, and demand is sky high. I have a pile of gear all ready for a cooling loop just sitting here waiting for a GPU block, and I might easily be waiting months more. Kind of wondering if I should have just stuck with my 2080Ti and waited for the 4000 series in a year or two.

From photos, it looks to be the same length as the FTW3s, it can't be any smaller as it is coving the entire PCB.

Rbk_3 Do we know the total length of the hybrid kit complete with fans and rad? I have a Meshify C and want to know if I will be able to fit it or if I should just get a new case. I can fit a 315mm GPU with the 2 front fans in
From photos, it looks to be the same length as the FTW3s, it can't be any smaller as it is coving the entire PCB.
It’s 289mm vs 300 for the actual GPU portion. I just need to know rad thickness basically. I am going to buy a larger case though so it is a mute point

I did this quickly so take it as you may. I scaled this photo to try and get an idea of the tube length. They're anywhere from 400-430mm long. My bet is that they're 400mm long just like every other hybrid that EVGA has made in the last few years. EVGA, can you just tell us please? So we can start checking if this will fit in our system?

Curious if I am remembering incorrectly - these hydro copper was on the site when they were originally announced in September-ish. They were then taken down until they reappeared 3 weeks ago. Is that correct? If so, I am 99% sure I signed up for the notify at the time. Would I have it on my notify listing page if so? Curious as the hydro coppers are the ones I've been waiting for. Thanks!
