So I received my replacement card.... and it's still a Rev 0.1. It's actually worse in every way than my first card - it overdraws up to ~81W on the PCIe slot and doesn't hit higher than ~430W with a maxed power limit on both the stock and XOC 500W BIOSes during a 3DMark Port Royal run. I'm pretty upset that I had to spend $50 on shipping for this. Following up with EVGA... Only upside is that it runs about 5-7C cooler because it can't hit the advertised power limit

I can't seem to update my vbios on my 3090 FTW3 Ultra model. It keeps on telling me there is no compatible display adapter found I don't have anything running in the background when I try its a frensh windows installation. Any tips? Tried both in OC mode and normal mode all giving the same error.
You need to use nvflash to flash an older FTW3 Ultra bios (nvflash -6 "nameofbiow.rom") and then you can use the exe file listed in the first post.

I have the exact same card, 81W PCIE, 5-7 cooler, REV 0.1 . It crashes all the time, still waiting for response from EVGA.

My card is really odd, will not OC above 100mhz on the core, even 5mhz above it will crash on the OC BIOS, also only pulling 430-450w

Me for their motherboard. You can claim back if it's for warranty purposes. I paid £150 for X299 Dark to come back to me. So you'll be paying around £400 or so. Both on the border of Netherlands and at UK border again. Whatever you pay at NL bother you can't claim back I tried, even though EU allows it. UK taxes you can claim and it will take 3-4 months as that's how long it took me.

No its not. Ive been entitled for a replacement because mine reached max 400W and +80 on pcie

Hello, I am a bit confused. I have the 500W bios on my card and it is a 2114 serial. The card never seems to pull more than 450W (it may briefly spike to 460W, but rarely). It doesn't seem to draw over 75W on the pcie express slot, usually draws 65-70. However, it looks like the 3rd 8-pin is never drawing more than 90W of power. My slider is set to 119% power, with a 125/600 OC, 600 being the memory. Anybody have a solution to this?

I have the same issue. My over clocks are good and stable though so I am not that worried about it. I get about 50 less watts on the 3rd power connector. I’m running at 2175 on the core and 1200+ on the memory.

Having flashed my 3090 FTW3 Hybrid to the XOC Bios, re-bar does not show as enabled in Precision. My card also hits 350W max and 70W from the PCI lane. This is what my vBIOS shows.

If you want to pass that 450 mark on the new revision cards you have to use the old bios.

Updated my 3090 FTW3U tonight to the latest rebar (non-oc) bios, since then, my aux fan doesn't follow any of the other fans. I also can't seem to control any of my other fans the way I was before. I don't use PX1. I use MSI AB. Not sure what's changed, but it's changed how my fans work. The aux fan won't seem to go over 690RPM, when it usually matches the other 3 fans set at 80-85%.

Even on the latest bios/MCU, have they acknowledged the aux fan issues/differences than before the latest update? The issue definitely lies in the update that PX1 had after upgrading the BIOS to the rebar version. I flashed back to the default BIOS and my aux fan still won't spin faster than 30-40%. The other 3 fans spin at the set speed. This was not an issue before the latest PX1 firmware update.
