Update, looks like my card is eligible for RMA.
Does anyone know what the turnaround time is? They stated that cross shipping wasn't possible for this RMA unfortunately.

It really depends how fast you send it to them. If you're in the US, the turnaround time from them receiving it to shipping my card was 3 business days. Then it's just transit time to them and from them depending on what shipping speed you utilized.

So for those with high pci-e slot power draw but no balancing issues, here what evga tech support said:
"Thank you for reaching out. A PCI-e slot power draw of 75-80w is totally normal. If you were seeing something like 85-90w from the PCI-e power draw, it'd be more of a cause for concern. It seems like your card is performing within spec and wouldn't need an RMA. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out again."
So I may try pushing the card to see if it gets about 85w. I have an optimus block for it but don't want to install it unless I know the card is good to go. Thoughts?

The PCIE spec is 75W max. GPU-Z reads 12V only and not 12V plus 3.3V wattage, PCIE slot power is the 12V wattage plus the 3.3V wattage. Properly functioning (stock) cards pull ~67W max as read by GPU-Z (12V only, no 3.3V), which leaves ~8W not read for 3.3V power. Cards that read >75W power draw in GPU-Z are actually pulling >83W as the ~8W from 3.3V isn't accounted for. Make sure to let them know that you know that they're lying to you when you report this to the Better Business Bureau / let Gamer's Nexus know about it (maybe offer your card up for them to test if you can live without it for a bit). Small claims court may be an option as well - but you'll have to look into it to see if it's worth it over selling your EVGA card and never purchasing from them again.

Hi guys, I recently shipped my card to EVGA UK Langdale, Flag Lane Penwortham, Preston Lancashire PR1 9TP UK as part of the special RMA programme.
This address was provided in the email EVGA sent me and I used it as an alternative to the address in Germany as the latter was ineligible in the pdf EVGA sent me.
Now EVGA is telling me they are yet to see it in the system.
Has anybody had any issues with this address in the UK?
Has anybody used it?

Are you able to sustain a locked boost with no jumps aside from the PCIe Slot draw?

During these benchmarks the card usually starts at it's boost clock and very quickly drops one bin (in this case 2235 from 2250mhz). If I remember in this particular run the it did drop another 15 mhz somewhere along the line for a very short time and continued again at the 2235mhz.
I received a 2114 from the US 3090OC program. I'm running the KPE520w Bios. The card is watercooled.

Thanks for clarifying Jacob, and you are confident that all of the RMA cards that will start shipping in a week will have fully resolved the underlying power balance issue? Also will you be allowing a second RMA for any that still experience the issue with the replacement cards?
If second RMA is needed we can work on a case by case basis, but I would be very surprised if a second would be needed for this particular symptom. Of course if anything else were to go wrong the card has full warranty.

So far, how many people have gotten a (new) card that is out of PCIe spec or has unbalanced power draw from 1 & 2? Trying to gauge how widespread the issue is in new batches since I believe there was a hardware revision and a vbios revision, but correct me if I’m wrong.

I am having less power draw from the 8 pin. I am trying to figure out why my card keeps maxing out a 467W.
If you Use nvflash to put the originals card 500w bios on it, you can get 500w by it going up to 165-170w from the first 2 8 pins with 110 on the the 3rd. Pcie stays in spec at 67 w.

I was initially power locked at 465 w on the new card with pcie 65 w & 2 8 pins at 150 w 3rd 8 pin at 110w. Flashing the original XOC 500w beta bios on the card gets 500w no problem, pcie 67 w 2 8 pins 165-170 w 3rd 8 pin 110w. The problem still exists I’m bypassing it, but the card doesn’t care where it’s getting power. Pcie is great and those cables are rated for 216-288 w so it’s a good move for me. I’m not on a full waterblock (just hybrid kit) so I can’t use the kingpin 520w bios but I’ve heard it pulls 520 no problem on these cards.

So I was able to get a screen shot with the power balancing issue showing by running port royal. They say I'm eligible but couldn't guarantee that the replacement card would be a new retail boxed card. Kind of hesitant to pull the trigger now. Has anyone else who's going through the program received a refurbished card? I remember reading a couple posts that said they got new sealed retail boxes. TIA

Just updated my card to a custom block from the hybrid, i seem stuck on hybrid xoc though. Anyone got any clue why it won't let me flash? Keeps saying this update won't work for it

Correct. With the XOC bios that ships with the card. I may throw the KPE bios on it and test some benchmarks to compare.

Retail box or white box?
Factory sealed retail box.
Can you send as GPUZ screen showing which BIOS you are using thats considered "Original XOC 500w" BIOS? There are so many floating around now I cant keep track.

Mine was full retail brand new in box. Since it's a revised board I imagine not a lot have made it into the refurb channels.
