No, as then you would be loading the primary vbios onto the secondary switch.

If your fans didnt stop even if the temperature is under 60C
I asked the support about that
this is the answer :
Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. The only thing changed was the micron vRAM. No other changes were made. You must have the card set to the secondary BIOS, which doesn't allow for the 0db fan profile.

Try switching it over and see if the fans will stop spinning if the GPU is under 60C.

(I made a mistake by installing the secondary bios on primary, I fixed that an everything is ok now)

How can the primray bios version put back when you installed the secondary bios on the primrary switch in mistake?

Simple...

#1 Load into windows on the actual secondary switch.
#2 Move switch to primary.
#3 Reflash primary with primary vbios.

So i have to switch to primray in windows while the computer is on and then update ?

You can download both updates at once. You'll need to update each vbios separately. Update primary first, shutdown pc, move vbios switch to secondary, boot pc, update secondary, shutdown pc, move switch back to primary. done.

Then i just simply can't understand why i have to boot on secondary then switch to primrary and run update 1? Because i put update 2 on primrary slot ? What if i boot up in primrary and simply run update 1? It wont refelash the update 2 to update 1 on the primrary slot ?
I mean if i want to update secondary, then i have to boot on secondary and appy update 2.

I hope i was clear :)

I think i'm not understanding something here...I got the bios update, it installed fine! However, my card is an Evga 1070 FTW, with the Samsung memory, does this mean that I got the wrong bios update? Or am I good to go...Also is there anything wrong with the bios revision shown in GPU-Z? (I'm using the secondary bios right now.)

Edit: I just switched back to the primary bios, and everything looks normal from there, except for the Samsung memory, still wondering about that...
Edit2: I just updated the secondary bios as well, it now reads the same as the primary, except with a .01 instead of .00

I'm having an issue with the updater. I'm following the instructions, yet when I run the update, the screen blacks out, then comes back with no changes. I'm not given the option to press Y to start anything.

If an RMA is necessary within 30 days of the original purchase date, a new in box OEM replacement will be sent in return if the product was purchased new-in-box, subject to availability.

Hey,

just a quick question. A friend has the same problem as I had: when he opens the file his screen turns black ( PC/Windows is still running tho ). When he switches to his onboard graphics and starts the bios file he can see everything and he is prompted to press " y ".

Should there be a problem if he does it that way? Switch to onboard graphics and update the bios, will that work?
