450 watts? Haha same as I'm getting on my 3090 ftw3 ultra with xoc bios. Lucky if I ever see 460 tops. Really getting annoying trying to bench with this.. as I have to undervolt and downclock the card just to try and avoid the performance limit/power limit that always hits above 420+ watts. So I'm stuck at like 2160mhz and the lowest voltage I can at like around 1031mv or less for a hail mary pass just to get a normal score. All at 32-35c max temps water cooled.. such a waste to do this round.. cold memory temps in the 20-low 30s. Still not figured out a stable clock for gaming. Can basically get the same performance at 2100mhz and .981mv. Far from ghe normal of max out the voltage to get the highest clock and set it and forget it like with my old 2080ti Kinpin card.

3090ti ftw3 ultra has no power issues, I'm 100% sure of it.
The problem is the badly programmed xoc bios that consumes a maximum of 480w, the same as the stock bios.
here is not the trick of using bios of 2 connectors in 3 graphics to increase the energy, the only thing we need is that EVGA review the bios and check why other bios deliver the advertised energy.

The XOC BIOS for the 3080 12GB already ships on the card. There isn't a higher wattage version.

Cannot say anything about Hybrid. If you read the topic you can see many claims on early limiting on 3080 ti FTW3U. It is easy to find in Metro (and Q2RTX too), it just limit the card in game at 400 Wt with rare peaks of 410-415. It NEVER, simply never reaches 450 Wtts. I've never seen that on any monitoring software, hwinfo, gpu-z, afterburner - just nowhere. With memory overclocking it goes even worse, limits are lower than w/o memory OC. Thanks to it gain from OC of watercooled cards in custom setups worth nothing! Yep, great! Throw your Mo-Ras in the trash! I'm so emotional as it started from the scrath with 3080 ti FTW3 - and nothing! But there was a couple of whinings about 3090 Ti with 480 (!!!) Wtts - and here it is, take your 500+!!! After a week! Sorry to hear that man, but unfortunately there will never be a 500 watts bios for the 80ti because the card would be as fast as a 3090 then and nvidia doesnt allow that

I'll take 500watts with my 3090 FTW3 Ultra (handycapped version).. all I ever see is like 452watts. Maybe 460 in 3dmark benches but thats in time spy extreme. So in the end I prob got that 3080ti but with 24gb of ram I'll never get close to max. Have to limit the volts to clock the card around 2100mhz just to try and stay under 420watts just so I don't hit the performance limit all day long.

The greatest consumption I got on my ti is 433 or around. As many others. Just a peak, not stable consumption on the level.

While the stock boost is higher with the new xoc and the card is also able to draw more than 500 watts it stills shows powerlimit when i am at around 470 to 480 watts usage

Any chance you could check if there are any new BIOS for 3080s with issues going over 400w? Sadly customer service just stopped responding to me when I raised a ticket. Stated they were away to check something with the BIOS team then just ghosted me...

I'm in the exact same boat. I can barely break 2130 as a boost clock, meanwhile some other people are regularly getting 2200+ :(

I can’t go higher than 2100 or it crashes pretty bad. Guess they labeled my card wrong should of been a gaming or black
