I tried signing up with my new 980 SC but when registering it I get please contact support there are unresolved issues with your serial....anyone see that before? Sent support an email.

I've owned ASUS, MSI, and then back in the day some XFX and EVGA boards (8800 GTX era).  The Hydro Copper 1080 ti series seems to be very intriguing and I'd love to get my hands on one to upgrade my existing MSI 1080 Seahawk EK X.  I would think EVGA would be interested in picking up new customers, but making 100 posts to get access to the marketplace doesn't seem like a good way to do that.  Miners are much more likely to already have EVGA products than gamers looking to try a different manufacturer.

Oh I agree (thus why I'm attempting to post here).
 
With that said, the requirements are kind of weird to me.  It seems the miners will get a free pass as they are more likely to have an existing late model EVGA card to bypass the requirements.

My guess is because no one is buying them and thats why. Now days everyone want the big shot cards so they can play with high fps. also, probably because of miners not wanting the 1030.
