Credit card? I'll pay cash.
While you can beat a dead horse as much as you like, you might have a tough time arguing with one.

Being that this is almost a carbon fiber version of the Yuel Beast Atlas II, that 2.76 lbs sounds real nice. Would love to build with it, though I can imagine the pricing to be extraordinary. Luckily there isn't a carbon fiber shortage, but legit molded CF isn't cheap. Wish they did a forged carbon option. People would jump at that more than the weave.

I’m going to guess $1,999. Not because I think it’ll actually cost that much, but so as not to encourage EVGA to go crazy on price after reading the other guesses. :)

This was the open air frame I was hoping for back when I posted in December, no idea this was already on the way! That is not only an epic system but seriously a work of art with the other matching components.

Just adding things up: Motherboard: $700 (estimate) Processor: $620 (12900K) Ram: $500 (estimate, probably 32gb of 6000 DDR5 Ram) PSU: $600 (comparable Corsair Titanium 1600W PSU is $609) CPU cooler: $200 (estimate, comparable Corsair cooler is $200-$250) M.2 SSD: $300 (estimate, depends on how many this system comes with. Z690 Dark Kingpin can hold 4 M.2 SSD I believe). Case: $500? It's an open air test bench, but its mold carbon fiber GPU: $2500 (at least, vanilla 3090 Kingpin is $2150) ----------------------------------------------------------- Total above is already $5,920 Ouch, I would agree that this is going to be at least $6,000. No way would it sell for anything less than $6K, given the cost of the component parts. I wonder if they will sell this pre-built or in its component parts.

i think at fist they will only sell the whole package as prebuild (in the article is says it will limited to members only i guess prebuilt is limited due to kingpin 3090Ti chips are highly binned hence limited) than they might sell the case separately in future they already plan to sell aio separately.

This thing is easily going to scrap the 10k price. The case/frame alone is easily 1-2k if not more. Carbon fiber ain't cheap Current kingpin 3090 card is 2200 so if its the 3090 ti that'll prob be 3k at least. Mainboard - 700-800 PSU - 600-700 AIO - 200-300 CPU - 600 or more as it'll prob be a binned chip for OC Ram - 600 - 700 $7300 if you take highest guestimate. Add in the mark up for a limit edition and you'll get close to the 10k mark.

And I could tell everybody I bought a pre-built! Last carbon fiber frame I had was in a road bike.

Yet another thing sold overpriced with minimal stock. Evga did well to create so many fans but now seems to want them gone.

Not even sure what you are talking about here. Minimal stock for an item that hasn’t even been actually released? How is something that isn’t for sale yet at minimal stock?

3K plain weave meh. For the cost this is probably going to be, i am pretty sure they could have used 6k twill which is stronger and looks better. 3k plain is about £20 a square metre, few metres here i guess depending how thick it is, so maybe £100 in cloth+resin and build then charge a few grand for it, nice. Not exactly a case either really, more a frame, suspending the components by the wires. I guess it looks pretty though.

I think an aluminum version of the frame sold individually would be a great choice, not as light or as strong as carbon fibre but not as prohibitively expensive either. Though it would need an expensive paint job to not scratch easily. It should also be very flexible in terms of mounting. But I would guess that EVGA probably has something along these lines already in the works for DIYers.

I only upgrade every ten years or so and haven't upgraded in years, I'm still using an i7-990k. If it's under 5K I'm def buying one. If not I'll just have to built one close to spec. (If video card available)

Hopefully you can get your hands on one if that's the case or at least the parts for a similar build. I can't imagine the performance upgrade over your current system!
