Did I miss something with all this speculation on price? Some posts are referencing it as a pre-built with everything for a working computer included. Personally, I viewed this as more of a barebones setup without CPU, RAM, and SSD. Those 3 things alone could swing the price $2k (or more) one way or another.
Either way...it's beautiful with top end components and fun to discuss and speculate. At least until it's time to open my wallet. 
They call it a "rig" and a "system", not just a bundle of parts. Also, the images and video renders show memory installed, looks like G.Skill, but who knows. It looks to me (and others) that they're planning on shipping a complete system. I guess we'll have to wait to find out.
Maybe the reason they didn't mention the CPU, RAM, SSD are because the customer will have a choice as to which of those parts are installed with the system. Whereas there would be no choice as to what motherboard, PSU, GPU, etc are installed and you would have to get those that are listed in the article. And I have no idea how one of these systems can be shipped as a whole because the frame exposes all of the components which can easily be damaged during shipping. Given how expensive it will be, maybe EVGA_JacobF will come by each customer's home to physically deliver and assemble each system there

I can see cost of parts + $1000.
Probably far more then that when you look at the parts inside this rig already. $1000 would get a working PC of course but when you are talking about a $2000 graphics card in the build I am guessing the buyer is going top of the line on everything and probably 2TB SSD drive.

Yeah, they'd definitely have to come up with a safe way to crate the thing. I'm thinking the custom foam pieces, plus expandable foam bags and probably a wooden crate for this thing. Sort of like what Origin PC does. I live in the North-East of the country, pretty sure Jacob doesn't want to drive all the way out here. I'd surely buy him a beer or break out a bottle of the good scotch if he did though lol, but I'm not buying this thing. My computer is brand new and still a beast in its own right, so no reason for me to even consider it. If I hadn't done this build though...I'd have some pondering to do lol.

Not sure where everyone is getting these 3k plus numbers for the card. If seen random articles speculating on 3090ti price based on early listings likely from companies that want to take an exorbitant amount of cash from you for a "preorder". And not even for EVGA cards at that. We all know EVGA prices extremely fairly. Look at zotac for gods sake. If the current kingpin is what, 2100? The Ti is not going to break 2500 at max. Likely less. People are talking 4 and 5k. ****

Reports I've read suggested prices of the 3090 Ti at $4k+ The KingPin version is a premium version, so I'd expect prices 10% to 20% over 'standard retail' at least. So a $5k pricetag is not entirely beyond the realms of expectation. But let's say it's $4k. You then add on a premium Z690 mobo and cpu, RAM, PSU, storage and that's at least another $2k, if not $3k. Then a low-production run carbon fibre frame and the matching meters/dials at what cost? Potentially thousands, depending on the quality and the numbers produced. If a run in the thousands, maybe a lot less of course.
So a price much under $10k is unlikely.

I've read the same reports. But they are from the same kind of early listings we get before every new release from rando 3rd party retailers trying to gain hype based preorder $$ on a sku that doesn't exist yet, and from 2nd rate news sites fishing for clicks. Can't see it being more than 20 percent above current price. There's never been a 100 percent price increase even from gen to gen in recent memory. I'm not saying the E1 will be cheap. But 4k for the card? No.

Thank you. Jesus. Look. We all know inflation plus semiconductor shortages/ crypto mining pressure driving up prices past couple years . We've see the same cards from EVGA increase 5-10 percent since launch. That's not going to translate to a 100plus percent increase on a mid gen update. So let's get real here. Ti kingpin , what 2500 max, yes? More likely under 2300. What can the other components possibly cost. Kp dark board just announced at 830, right? 1600w platinum psu, 500? Top cpu and cooler, ram, ssd. Another 1500. Carbon fiber limited "case" few hundred more. Upcharge for rarity/exclusivity factor and were looking at no more than 6k$ unless I forgot a component or 2.

I look forward to pairing this sporty open air system with Alienware's QD-OLED, to be launched March 29th. Two items to buy on their launch day. Hopefully we get advance notice so we don't miss the line. I like how it's open air because that makes it easy to clean and service. You take it outside and use a powered computer blower/duster. However, I'm starting to wonder if the 3090 Ti is vaporware and what's going on with it's launch.

We may as well wait a few more months for the 4090 (ETA Q3 of '22), if the 3090 Ti is launching the middle of this year (late Q2 of '22... at the earliest). Allegedly 2x performance, 75% more cores. Maybe the 4090 will launch before the 3090 Ti does. Nvidia sure is oddly quiet about their flagship GPU. The most current rumors say that the 3090 Ti launches on March 29th. Nothing official tho.

If the 4000 series is definitely coming out later this year, I'd rather wait for a KingPin version of a 4090 in this. And frankly a next-gen X699 board and cpu. I really think the 3090 Ti is just a waste of time, even if they make it, at this point.
Also, I'm in line to inherit a bit of money so could then actually afford this PC. If the E1 drops 2 weeks from now, I'm screwed. And it's really growing on me...

In fact, I think we can wait until the arrival of 4090 and replace the e1's graphics card with 4090kp. After all, according to leaked information, the 4090 is ridiculously strong.
