Will the card itself have any RGB? I read somewhere that the FTW3 hybrid will come with RGB fans (I plan on using Corsair ML120 fans) but no mention of RGB on the card itself.

I am really hoping for some RGB on the card, but the pictures posted thus far don't seem to indicate it.  I really like the way the ftw3 air cooled card looks (except for the sad clown lips of course) and am holding on to hope that the hybrid kits will look similar since I'm planning to go ahead and get a ftw3 ultra (air cooled) when I get to the front of the queue and then buying a hybrid kit once they're available.  I do mostly like the look of the hybrid pics that were posted (the shape, contours, etc.), but not having RGB on it is disappointing.

Completely agree with you. I love how the hybrid looks. I'm just hoping it has some RGB resemblance from it's air counterparts, specifically the FTW3.

I want a kit because the XC3 has terrible cooling.

The picture indicates that's a FTW3 Hybrid since it's taller.  When you see the GPU that 'tall' from the I/O rear bracket, it means its on a custom PCB otherwise, a reference GPU is almost flushed with the rear I/O bracket.

Awesome, I did not know this, thanks!

Any new/better info on when the Hybrid kits might hit. I think you should allow people who are purchasing cards right now get into a queue for a hybrid kit when they purchase their card.

Thanks for the update! I didnt get on the waiting list for a 3080 until the 22nd, but the Hybrid ftw3 is the card I really want anyway.

I might be in the minority, but I love the how understated the card looks in renders now. I'm not against RGB, but sometimes less is more.

See below for some updates on 30 Series HYBRID! Will continue to update as more info is available:
  • HYBRID = 240mm Radiator
  • Available in XC3, FTW3 versions
  • Latest update on availability = Mid/Late Nov
  • Standalone kit will be available

Jacob My question is on the Hybrid FTW3 Ultra 3090, Would there be a possible option to change the Rad from a 240 to a 360 if a customer wanted to and willing to pay extra to get one swapped out for a 360 RAD?

The OCD bothers me to much to mount a 240 RAD in my Lian Li O11 Dynamic lol. So while more info becomes available it will help me choose between the KPE (only getting it for the 360 RAD) unless i could swap out the 240 RAD on the FTW3 3090.

Being able to queue for the Hybrid would be nice since it's what I actually want.

They may not have pricing determined yet and all that work done. They are probably going to stick to their schedule

This post alone will give them a reason to just keep it as it and get you to buy the KPE :P

What I want to know is if We will finally have the option to tune the pump speed ourselves. I'm currently running a 2080 Super XC Hybrid and the pump noise is mildly annoying. Adds a whining sound that wasn't there before using a 2080Ti and the NZXT G12 bracket along with the 360mm AIO offerings from NZXT. I could tune the pump to about 70~75% and it ran dead silent. Now that I have the EVGA hybrid, noise has been the only gripe so far. I'm just really hoping I wont have to get one of the custom splitter/adapters to finally gain control of the pump speed.

And yeah, those who bought from the EVGA store directly or were stepping up should have first dibs IMO. Makes a ton of sense with the notification system they have for the actual cards themselves... Maybe auto send an email to all of the step-up/notify people first once they become available?

Even still, I just want adjustable pump speeds, first and foremost!

I would take that a step further and say that first in line for hybrid kits should be not just people who bought it from the EVGA store (since in the beginning that was mostly bots), but people who bought it under the current queue system, since those are the real customers.

I read a reply by Jacob on Twitter saying no pump control. I wish they would at least give us factory pump profiles a la Corsair.

As long as the pump runs at 100% all of the time (like I have for all of my Kraken G10/X41/X61 watercooled setups), I couldn't care. With proper mounting, you aren't going to get horrible pump noise.

I’ll be checking temps and case flow on my box when I install my card and that will be my guide on getting a kit. I’ll still likely do it, though. More quiet. More cool. Makes it dead simple to get heat off the GPU and circuitry, and out of the box. And it does remind a bit of the view under the hood of an exotic car. That’s just a bonus.

I don’t know what demand is like on these but I bet these might be popular with the 3000 series.

Also curious about a step up. I bought a 3090 XC3 and signed up to step up to the ftw3 ultra. Will we have the option to get a hybrid model instead?

I read a reply by Jacob on Twitter saying no pump control. I wish they would at least give us factory pump profiles a la Corsair.

This is a mild bummer, this just means I'll be buying the specialty adapter cable to finally get full control of the damn pump. I'm still having a hard time finding a reason why they cant allow it with a simple bios or Precision X1 update. I'd rather not have to dig around in my card and potentially void my warranty, just to have the hybrid system run how the majority of people would set it to anyhow...

To the fellow right below you saying that I must be mounting it wrong, I have the 120mm rad mounted to the exhaust fan opening on the direct back end of the pc with the tubing also oriented on the bottom of the radiator. The pump isn't making a humming noise due to air at all. I had a CPU AIO cooler mounted tubes up before and that swishing/gurgling noise due to air circulation WAS there. The sound my hybrid card is currently making is 100% the fault of the pump running full bore 24/7 and the pump impeller blade design too. I normally wouldn't complain about such a noise, but I have my rig in a dead quiet room and it has been bugging me to no end. Kinda disappointed, but I'll figure out a way to make it work the way I want it to.

Any possibility of defective pump?
My 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid pump is dead silent, just like Corsair CPU AIO H100i.

I may just grow the guts to do a Hybrid kit install myself instead of reselling my 3080 FTW3 when the Hybrid comes out & buying one.  We'll see what the cost of the kit is, hopefully it's still reasonable I.E. less than $200... 240mm Radiator, that will be sick... I'll have to figure out where the heck to put it in my case since I'm planning on getting a 360mm AIO for my CPU soon. lol

As long as the pump runs at 100% all of the time (like I have for all of my Kraken G10/X41/X61 watercooled setups), I couldn't care. With proper mounting, you aren't going to get horrible pump noise.

I use the H55 in my Kraken G12. Is that the same pump as what's in the Hybrid?  If so I would like to say that putting my pump speed on Highest makes it dead quiet, if I lower it to Normal or Slow it buzzes/gurgles.  Weird huh?

One thing I did notice when testing the pump before attaching was when held flat on Normal speed it was loud, when turned on it's side it was dead quiet on normal.   Maybe a vertical mount might help this Hybrid pump noise?
