I did some more bench marking last night. I was able to get +105 on the gpu core and +700 on the memory.

It's better when radiator is mounted with tubing at the bottom so air doesn't go into pump.

Are you sure? I see builds with tubing at the bottom and at the top but I dunno what's better. Anyway thanks so much for the info. I will try and will make some tests. Done
* New pics: imgur.com/a/CNEN3

Pretty sure. :)
https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/400-HY-5598-B1.pdf

The only other "safe" optional mounting position for the FTW3 Hybrid is with the Radiator sideways --> with the "GPU's Back Hose on the Bottom"

The pump turns clockwise --> this makes the "intake" for the pump the Back hose (farthest from where you connect monitor)

After reading that I feel like I should re-mount...but I have mine in a Fractal Design Nano S.

For anyone not familar with that case, it's pretty tiny and I don't want to fold the hoses back to far so I have them at the top side of the radiator.

I haven't noticed any issues with temperatures but if anyone can tell me for sure that I should redo it based on system longevity I'll try to find a way to squeeze it in.

Open to suggestions, don't want to break this monster!

I wouldn't worry about it. EVGA recommends a certain way but not every case or build can accommodate those directions.

I have it mounted as a bottom front intake with the hoses up and it works great. Don't hear a peep out of it and temps are fantastic.

If it helps at all I've had my two 980ti Hybrid's mounted with the hoses on the side for almost 2yrs now and they've been fine.

If your pump sucks air into it:

1) Pump can cavitate and make noise

2) Cavitation will shorten pump life and negatively impacts coolant flow

It depends on how much air is in the loop - if you can get away with putting hoses on top of Radiator as mounted

Obviously this is Not recommended

NF12's on the video card radiators, the "industrial" NF12's on the cpu cooler, and rear & bottom ones are A14's

After hours of playing an intense modern 3D game the video cards never reach 60C, and I've rarely seen them go over that in benchmarks.  In same scenario CPU maybe reaches 63-65C at most, benchmarks/stresstests it never really goes much beyond 70c

Do your Industrial NF-F12 have RC car like buzzing at 1000+ rpm? I brought one recently (120mm) and was told they do sound industrial. I'm curious as to how the standard NF 12 120mm sound?

Every gpu is different. You will have to determine what your card can take. Some are better overclockers than others. The plus about the Hybrid though is EVGA is giving you a Ferrari to start with.

There is no reason you won't be able to get 75 to 100MHz on the gpu clock and +500MHz on the memory clock but I wouldn't set it there from the beginning. Increase the gpu clock in 25MHz increments and stress test. If it passes add another 25MHz and so on and so forth until you fail the test. If it fails back it down 10 or 15MHZ and run the test again. After you set the gpu clock move to memory but you should be able to do that in 50 to 100MHz increments.

I was able to get 2100MHz on the gpu and 6210 on the memory but it was borderling unstable, so I backed it down a little.

Just got mine installed today.
Can anyone with working knowledge  of said card (i.e. not Adamlnk ) answer this:
- Can stock fan be used in pull configuration, any cons
- Is radiator fan (when connected to card) constant speed, is it possible to control it
- FW update, on first Precision XOC startup there was "updating fans" message and Precision restarted. Is that it, how can I tell if FW updated. (RGB works, btw)

Thanks

Those were mine, but no I haven't experienced that.  At the same speeds as the normal NF-F12's (1500rpm) they sound about the same as the normal ones, above that though (and understandably so) they are noticeably louder.  But mine never really spin up that high, I only got them cause the place I was ordering a bunch of stuff for to finish my build only had those in stock and I just needed two more.

Well all the radiators are 120mm so that wouldn't really work.  But if you are asking could I put one at the back of my case and have it as an exhaust, yes I could.  But I tried that with the CPU and found it to be a good 6-8C warmer like that.  In my experince and playing around I found it better to put them in the front to be able to suck in cool air instead of warm air that is already inside the case.  While they outputting warm air into the case, it's not that bad and gets pulled out by the other fans pretty quickly.

- I don't see why not - maybe a tad warmer temps
- It's not constant speed. It definitely ramps up and down based on temperature. I was adamant about being able to control the fan(s) but I may have been mistaken. It looks like EVGA has some kind of software control built in that controls the fans.
- That is how mine updated too. I think if you click the I(info) button at the top right hand corner in Precision it gives you that info.

Thanks, push vs pull are no different temp wise, pull does not create dust spot under the center of the fan though

The Noctua F12 24v versions are the ones to get, the low RPM buzzing isn't present like on the 12V versions, and running the 24V on the 12V fan headers makes them half speed, so I use the 3000RPM versions (which are 1500RPM on my 12V motherboard fan headers).

That said, they are still a bit louder than the beige Noctuas, and I anxiously anticipate the black chromax versions of that original F12 this fall.

nope no buzz at all runs quiet as hell at 1800 rpm . but then again i have fans in my room and other noise , so if your house is perfectly quiet you may here it but its not bad at all ,video card fan is louder if that helps

I not lied about fan curves, radiator fan speed cant controlled via Precission, just vrm fan...

It's like a conspiracy around radiator fan. How one can control it or at least see real time RPM. i'ts way too loud at idle, in fact. at least based on what I hear, I am inclined to say that it's just one constant speed.
And please prove me I am wrong.
What is a good replacement for stock fan again, shame that $900 product comes with cheap ass noisy fan ( or fan control for that matter)
