If the older driver doesn't resolve the issue then your display doesn't support scaling on the display.

Same operating system? If yes, the only things that could have changed are your graphics drivers, so an older driver may restore the option for you.

If you've already did everything I've listed in this thread, and you're still having the issue you could try rma'ing the monitor if you suspect the monitor is the issue, or you could buy another new one like it, and see if that one works without any issues.

Re: Can't change perform scaling to display mode NVIDIA 2020/06/14 09:28:37 (permalink)
Previously display scaling setting was available on screens regardless if they had hardware scaling or not.

Windows 10 doesn't permit this any more.

I believe - Gsync panels do not have a scaler ?   Check with your Monitor Mfg

other possibility - is your DP cable a certified cable ?  It does not require an expensive cable - good ones around $20

You May See A Small Amount of Input Lag When Using GPU Scaling

Using GPU scaling can cause a small amount of input lag, which can potentially affect in-game performance. However, the amount of input lag caused by GPU scaling is generally minimal and, in most scenarios, it won’t have a noticeable impact on your game.

What drivers are you using ?  Might be something to do with the DCH drivers vs. Standard drivers.  I have DCH ones and show GPU as the only option in the screenshot Sajin posted.
