timtiminhouston I removed all but two notifies from my queue, hoping to get a notify on 10G-P5-3897-KR but I stayed in the queue for 24G-P5-3975-KR incase it is more likely to show up. I honestly do not need 24 GB of ram and would be happy with the 3080. I have not bought any cards in over 3 years-but I finally got a laptop with RTX 3070 and now I want the 3080 even more. RTX is nice, and the Tensor cores are nice to have.
The 10G-P5-3897-KR is not a LHR card and I wouldn't expect there to be any more made. If you kept it on the KL version you'd have had a lot better chance of picking one up imo. Good luck on the 24G-P5-3975-KR though.

Yeah I am not going to be stuck with a crippled card; I have been doing [link=mailto:folding@home]folding@home[/link] for years whenever I had free cycles, but I had to stop because the GPU shortage and I could not risk killing my primary card for charity (my EVGA GTX 580 3GB died while folding two years ago). If I get one of these I will use my RX5700xt for folding most the time and use the RTX for folding maybe a couple hours at a time to benchmark. But I am 100% certain the LHR cards will also effect things like [link=mailto:folding@home]folding@home[/link] and a lot of work related task. I would prefer to get a lower performing Quadro RTX 4000 that has complete features enabled than be punished for Crypto scammers that our government refuses to acknowledge (because they too must be in on the scam). I will not pay full price for a further crippled card; I actually do work on my PC including financial modeling (that is remarkably almost never right). The Quadro RTX is looking better and better.

enewt Per EVGA, the "no more than two operative 30 series queue registrations" is now in effect.
Ah, I see they've added an active (true/false) column. If only Microsoft could be so effective in their software design. Makes me think I could have kept some more recent entries, even if they were inactive, then made a last minute decision to delete older entries if the newer ones came up. But I don't need a card so whatever, just kept an entry for 3090 FTW3 for SLI, and the Kingpin.

LHR specifically targeted Ethereum mining only. Though Ergo mining is effected to a degree, nothing else is.

timtiminhouston I would add that closing an email account tied to your EVGA is sus because either you are a miner trying to get around the restrictions by signing up with multiple email accounts or you actually had to close an email account which is weird. I have had the same email accounts for 20 years. Can't imagine closing my main email account and the only reason I would sign up with a disposable account is to game the system. I am calling BS and declaring you a miner.
It seems weird that you have never had to change email accounts. A lot of people use the email through their ISP, and if they move, or change ISP, their email addy changes. I had to go through multiple email changes when there was a big consolidation of ISPs around here. They kept buying each other out and then changing all the customers' emails.

I've had old outdated emails from the late 90's early 2000's that kept getting hacked. Other emails that kept getting ridiculous amounts of spam, so I closed those to start fresh. There's many reasons get rid of emails.

The "My notifies" page hasn't been updated for the EU queues. It is unknown if we get the same updated page, but I'd imagine so. Also, why are you on both US and EU queues?

The "active" column was added there last week I believe, after the changes in the way the queue is going to be handled from now on. It displays the two "active" card queues the system has allocated you to, based on the date (but don't quote me on that, better wait for someone from the US to confirm). Also, FYI both US and EU EVGA won't ship to Russia, I hope you are aware of that.

I know about US but I can't find information about shipping to Russia. I see only this -> EVGA FAQ - Does EVGA ship Internationally?I found Buying from Russia - EVGA Forums I will think about it later I asked a man about warranty and buying from Russia. He said Evga banned Russian cards, paypal with Russian cards and the "Global" warranty don't work in Russia. Thanks for the information. So, I can forget about EVGA and give the account to a friend from EU.

I stand corrected. The LHR doesn't effect folding-but it does affect password hashing which is not a deal killer. I am thinking of just leaving the queue and waiting on next gen. My wife is encouraging me to wait another year or so as well-I am happy with my laptop RTX 3070 performance paired with a 5900HX and my 3900X/5700Xt rig is still holding up well; It is getting hard to justify this. I may pass on this one anyways if I get the notification today. Good luck to all.

How are people who mine crypto scammers?
I am a certified Information Systems Security Professional-so this is my professional opinion-before Bitcoin the ransomware industry was all but non existent and had to rely on using money orders and wire transfers that were easy to trace or reverse. Yes there was hacking and viruses etc. But Crypto mining has DIRECTLY subsidized and continues to encouraged the very worst humanity has to offer and brings it to a whole new level because of crypto liquidity. Robbery on line should be called robbery. If someone demands money from you it is a robbery. Taking over a computer and demanding a bitcoin ransom is ROBBERY just as is demanding money from a teller or cashier. I have become a bee keeper to get some peace from the constant buzz kill that is on line robberies we call ransomware. But my day job has me dealing with this non stop. It is my professional opinion Crypto currencies encourage ransomware. And while I acknowledge I benefit from this criminality by getting paid to combat it- I would far prefer to focus on building new things.

How are people who mine crypto scammers?
And I will add to the evil Bitcoin et al have on their karma is it speeds up global warming and consumes as much electricity as many small countries. So yeah-it is evil.

Kagashini So strange. I need to EU queue but the site show me US and EU. On the US site I see active notified. On the eu site I don't see this... Is it works for US only?
We're updating the EU Notify page so it looks the same right now. All the back-end programming is already the same.
