As the title says, I was running 13900k and I switched over to a 14900ks. I had been running 32GB of ram before without issue. With the new CPU I can only get the system to post/boot to windows with only 1 stick of ram. (It's the same exact memory as before) If I put in both sticks it just goes into a start up loop. Yes, I loaded the XMP profile. Yes I've tried different sticks, and different slots. I'm guessing I need to bump up some voltage (other than the dimm voltage) to get this up and running but I'm not sure what to try. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm. You sure you didn't bend any pins in the socket?

pretty sure I didn't. And if I did, this would be a first in all my 20 years of building rigs. I think I might have to check though.

I did have issues getting the memory stable when I had first set things up with the 13900k back in the day. I was getting memtest errors with the xmp profile. Someone suggested bumping the VSA to 1.3. I tried that this time (and higher) and no go. Even with underclocking the ram I can't even get it to post with 2 sticks.

With the two sticks in installed, the post codes in the loop at 12-28-54-7F then reboot.

PS.... I just went back further in the forums and the same exact codes I'm getting, people thought he might have a bent pin. I also just installed with the TG heatspreader so I'm wondering if I might have borked that install. *sigh* my christmas day is gonna be busy.
