Due to high demand, the notify queue sign-up is temporarily disabled.
If you have a current queue position, EVGA will continue to process as stock is available.

How to get in the queue?

The queues are closed until further notice. They said they will reopen when the people in the queues now get their orders filled.
I am guessing six months to a year maybe. Or more, no one here knows. EVGA maybe has an idea, not saying.
But if a new product SKU is launched like say a 3080 super, then there most likely will be a new queue for them.

Does anyone know if the  3070 Ti XC3 ULTRA GAMING, 08G-P5-3785-KL has a compatible waterblock? Someone elsewhere showed that the FTW3 could be made compatible if you get the aftermarket backplate as well.

Not interested in debate about "worth" of watercooling, just want to know "is it possible with existing waterblocks".

I have not seen a waterblock for that card.

Here's a question I haven't seen addressed exactly.

If I get my notify list down to say 3 cards, EVGA only processes the two oldest.  If I see that the third queue is moving faster than the 2nd queue and I want to switch to it, can I just remove the 1st queue and that would then turn the 2nd and 3rd queues into my 1st and 2nd even after Oct 11?  I know it would be a risk that I could get passed up if that 3rd queue was reached before a change, but is this a possible scenario?

I believe you can keep but if your turns comes up but is a "skipped" queue from the new rules, I am pretty sure it will be lost. But also you can just wait and see "maybe" and select a bit later.

Not sure if it's a good idea, you risk to miss your turn on what you really want. Word of advice make sure to just select what you really want, keep only 2 Ultra versions, and avoid hybrid or hydro copper, per recommendation. For those that only 1 is really the card they want and is not an ultra keep it and select an ultra as well, might help get a card faster still.

Until the queue system goes down to a reasonable level it's not really the best way to have a queue that could take a year. When the queue goes down to a reasonable level they will open it back up.

In my opinion it would be better not two cards per member but only one card.
I have put two cards, the 08G-P5-3663-KL and the 10G-P5-3897-KL because I am afraid that the 08G-P5-3663-KL that I want more because it has two fans will never go into production.

There is no reason to buy something from EVGA again.

Another real issue is EVGA says this will only be this way until folks who have not got cards have a chance to buy the card, well hey EVGA that line will never end so if you already got a card from EVGA more than likely you will never have another chance. Unless im missing something ????

EU queues are not being tracked actively right now, but you can get a general idea in the following threads:

A lot of folks usually post about their incoming notifications in these threads and you can find the queue docs as well.

That is correct: "Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup."  (https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3477976)

it does not seem right. I mean, I like many others have been waiting for the first gpu for months, and others take advantage of it by buying 2 or 3? it is not fair that evga allows this, it should slip them to the bottom of the queue, and continue to slip them until new people order for the first time.

It matters when you entered the queue, not whether or not you have a card already.

If you already signed up for 2+ notifies and already got a card: you can still get another card, depending on what's available.
If you already signed up for 2+ notifies and DIDN'T get a card: you can still get a card, depending on what's available.
If you haven't signed up for any notifies and are not in the queue, then sorry my friend, it is too late. The queues are closed for now.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Not all groups will be satisfied concurrently.  EVGA has listened to the majority and come up with a very reasonable and equitable plan going forward.  Lesson learned for the next release, everyone who wants a GPU should get in line for when the doors open (virtually).  Explore other means of procuring what you want, put forth best effort.  You will eventually succeed.  I was dry for 4 months and eventually scored close to what I wanted.  It was a lot of hard work and persistence, plus a little luck.  YMMV.

Re: Better Queue System, More Gamers to Get a Card! 2021/10/08 08:43:14 (permalink)
Dear Jacob-
As a loyal customer of EVGA since 2009, I find the process of buying a 30 series video card slightly daunting.  I've had 3 video cards in my queue since EVGA made an effort to have a waiting list available to their customers.  I received an email on 10/6/21 asking me to please pick 2 of the 3 that are in my queue, I have logged on the website only to find that my queue lists none of the 3 cards I am in line for.  What is the status of my queue, why are my choices not in my queue anymore?

Please advise,
Dean DalDegan

Thank you for asking for and listening to our feedback on all this, Jacob (and EVGA in general).  Obviously the best way to deal with bots is as much verification/screening as is possible or viable, so I appreciate the sms verification.  I'd like to see even more along these lines in the future, but I don't know what solutions are available that won't require too many resources to keep things profitable for you guys, but I hope you're exploring whatever options along these lines that would make sense for you as a company.  And any solutions that actually work to screen out bots from the ordering process in general would be nice so that they can't get in the notify queue to begin with.  I don't have the technical knowledge to provide answers to that, but others here have offered solutions.  Captcha is obviously too easy for bots to get around.

I'd also like to put out there (as many others have in many forum posts) that there has got to be some way to prevent the sites from crashing during new product launches.  Renting infrastructure from companies that provide that on launch days and whatnot would seem like a good idea since your servers will get overloaded every time.  Having the forums operate on a different system would be really nice, too, since they always go down when the store page goes down due to too much traffic.

Re: Better Queue System, More Gamers to Get a Card! 2021/10/08 09:15:43 (permalink)
Oh, and I think it would be fantastic if you guys add a couple more features to the queue:

1) Give us the ability to see where we are in the queue.  This option is available with other companies using similar systems, so I'm not sure what the reasons are behind not letting us do that at this point.  I'm guessing you have them, but I don't know what they are.

2) Send us an automated email when we're approaching the front of the queue (especially if #1 above isn't an option for whatever reason).  Given that some people have been in the queue for a year or more at this point, and nearly everyone spends at the very least several months in it, it would be really nice if we got a sort of heads-up when we were getting close so we'd know to keep an extra eye out for an email from EVGA.  I realize that you guys can't provide exact dates for when we'd get to the front of the queue, and that's fine, but just knowing that sometime roughly in the next couple of weeks we'd be likely to get to the front would be really nice.  I've had multiple friends miss out on their spot because they were busy when their notify happened.  Two of them were healthcare workers who were literally working like 16 hour days multiple days in a row trying to save people's live and help them in the middle of a pandemic, and they simply went a couple of days without checking their email and missed the bus as a result.  Expanding the window to 20 hours was a nice move, but something along the lines of a "heads-up, you're getting close to the front of the queue" email would be really nice addition as well.

Unfortunately, at the present time EVGA has closed all GPU auto notifies (queues).  No one knows when or if they will reopen.  If EVGA can clear the present queues, then they may reopen.

To give it to you "with the bark still on it," the queues are so long now, that it may be many months or more before they would reopen.

No, current Queue is locked ... until those already in the Queue get their card .... demand is very high, supply comes in bunches

I am not sure of the recent rule changes and the move from an 8 hour window to a 20 hour window has changed EVGA's willingness to "rehabilitate" an invite to purchase email, but in the past if you missed your window, you could reply to the email (it would have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and in your reply indicate your desire to purchase the card. In the past, EVGA would send you a new email (containing a new link to buy) in a day or three -- i.e., when they had that SKU back in stock. It might be worth it to your multiple friends to try that method if they are still interested in the cards that they missed purchasing. Best of luck!

Edit2: Checked queue times - ****. The two "best bets" I have in the system (3885, 3897) are still MONTHS away from my notification date.. Should I hold onto a 3080 TI?

See my notes inside the quoted post.  If you need a card and want something soon, then that will be the 3080 Ti... my guess.

Thanks for the helpful advice. Took me a bit to find where you put the notes - the text all blended in.

Appreciate the help!

Edit: ended up going with "Best Bet 2" and "Runner up" - I can't justify the $500 more for a 3080 TI vs. the 10-15% increase. I have a 2060 super that's still doing fine, so I'm not desperate.
