Was the XC3 in the EU site just a unicorn card again that sits just as a placeholder to indicate "we have a card at MSRP" or was it actually buyable during launch hour?

The FTW3 is already guaranteed to sell faster than they can produce it. So it doesn't make business sense to offer the cheaper card. Doing so would result in a direct loss to EVGA.
You will still only be paying about HALF compared to what anyone else is is forced to pay to retailers that are selling at prices as bad (or worse in some instances) as ebay scalpers.

Seems to not exist. Have yet to see even one actual order of it, so my guess is that like 1000 or something along those lines of them existed and were all bought out and are never coming back. It is literally just the FTW 3 model and that's it. 690 euro, oh well, hope I can sell my 1080 ti for enough to make up for at least 90% of the price.

I have NO CLUE how some people got it at around 6:00, nothing was responding and even the error page wasn't loading.
Since I'm one hour behind, guess I'm never getting a GPU. Sigh..
Had this been NA maybe in a few months, but being EU good luck...

I really don't understand why the XC3 is at all listed (3080 ti and 3070 ti), since EVGA doesn't intend to ever sell it. It's deceiving and false and absolutely grinds my gears...
It'd be much more clear if they just listed the FTW3 and be done with it. Also I am not ok with accepting the way of thinking "just be happy you can buy a FTW3 at a close enough price", because I do not accept the scalping as a realistic market representation. Sure. it's taken a much longer time than we all expected, but looking at the bigger picture one day all this will be behind us, and all malpractices of companies and opportunistic retailers will remain as a bitter memory.
I do appreciate EVGA's efforts to actually offer some decent solutions to this horrible market climate we are in, but ... WHY list an UNEXISTING product SKU???
Just my 2 cents ...

In my end the 3070ti page wasn't even listed on evga eu until 30 minutes ago. That was f***** frustrating trying with the site down, waiting and get nothing.

I mean i don't know what to say at this point !

At the end of the day, its just stuff that would be nice to have. You've got your name in. Eventually you'll get the option to buy one. Either that or all the other issues around GPU's now will get resolved and then you'll have a choice of models and probably some money saved up. Just put it out of your mind now and focus on other things. That's my plan anyway

It is luck. I managed to submit the form the first time at 6:12 but it gave me a 503 response error. Perhaps this queue will go faster as there are fewer models.

pure lottery, for 3080ti i managed to get in queue after 1h28min34sec, for 3070ti after 2min56sec
