The issue is at idle with low temp or in single core workloads therefore it should boost to 5.8.

valamyr01 Hello, I have the same issue, 13900kf never boosting above 5.5, and noticed that it happens when I set Ram to manual. If set to auto then the cpu boost normally up to 5.8. Don’t know if related but I use adie green pcb.
As mentioned before and on previous bios with 12900k, you have to enable c state, then disable C1. Then it'll boost correctly. Or you can manually set the ratio OC and it'll work that way too.

That worked, seeing 5.8 now on the two cores. Thanks!!

Also - should 12th gen stay on 1.1x bios or just update at this point? I'm getting a 13th gen shortly but havent yet.

Curious why you updated while on ADL? You planning to upgrade soon? Also, where did you get the corsair 7200? Been looking for it. OOS constantly at corsair's site.

Can't speak for raiden, but I'm using 2.03 with a 12900k as well. Installed it for the memory compatibility additions. So far, things have been great. Had to tone down everything though, because COD MW2 is stupid with its crashing where everything's stable everywhere else and in stressing w/ various apps.

Were you not crashing on 1.x bios in MW2? I ask because i have a 12900K on 1.x bios and have not yet upgraded to 2.03 since it's still in beta (13900k in the box, waiting for stable bios) and have no crashing.

I was, but my team was also running slightly lower than XMP for stability (6000 instead of 6400). CODs (even those before MW2) have always been sensitive on the RAM for me, even in my old 10900k rig with 3200mhz RAM. MW2 just send far more volatile (maybe it's ricochet?).

I bought the Z690 Dark like 4 weeks ago. I had an Apex prior but it was the horrible pre-launch one. I had Corsair 6600 on it and couldn't get it passed 4800 lol (I was unware that Asus was RMAing boards if they were built prior to Jan 2022 to fix this issue). So I bought the Dark and just straight up updated to the newest Bios... No reason honestly. I am happy with my 3090 KPE HC, Hard for me to go to ADL without EVGAs name it! The 7200 kits were on sale on Corsairs website for almost 4 days straight; Friday Oct 28th to Nov 1st when it went out of stock. The 7200 kit booted up just fine in XMP1 with a day one 12900k. Ive done standard benchmarking and overnight gaming and have not had any crashes yet.

did the flash to 2.02 with 12600K installed, tried both TeamGroup and HyperX kits (original DDR5 - were working fine), tried my GT710 and a RTX3080ti - but no success
Will try now with 2.03 and see if it works...

Okay seems 2.03 is working okay after flashing to a new bios location (BIOS 1), but not able to recover the bios I loaded 2.02 on (BIOS 2). Hotflash not working (E4 error) and if I boot on working bios location (BIOS 1), when I change the selector switch to the bricked bios location (BIOS 2), the .bin file disappears from view when trying to select it in the bios update drop down menu (****???)

I'm having the exact same issue with the .bin file vanishing. I have the BIOS switch set to BIOS1 (my only working BIOS) then I use it to get into the BIOS settings menu. I click on EXTRAS and I can see the .bin file perfectly. Then I flip the BIOS Switch to either BIOS 2 or 3, click EXTRAS again and go to flash the BIOS and its like you say, the .bin file is gone. I flip the switch back up to BIOS1 and the .bin file reappears. If I try to use the BIOS Flashback button method (renaming the 21027T01.bin file to EVGAE699 or EVGAE690, the post LED starts to cycle, I lift my finger off it to let it begin the flash. It continues to cycle for about 10 seconds then comes up with error code E8. I know the USB stick is working fine because it re-flashed BIOS1 without any issues. It just won't let me flash BIOS 2 or 3. I have tried to hotflash BIOS2 and 3 within Windows by using BIOS1 to boot into the OS. Then I flip the switch to BIOS 2 or 3 and begin the hotflash from the command prompt. The PC shuts down immediately when I press Y to flash. I did discover a workaround to stop the PC shutting down immediately after pressing Y. To do this I use BIOS1 to get into the BIOS settings menu, Disable Intel ME then boot into Windows. I was then able to flip the switch to BIOS2 or 3 and begin the flash using the Update.bat file in command prompt. The flash begins erasing and re-writing blocks, looks fine at first. Then right at the end of the flash it comes up with an error message and cannot complete. See the pic below:

valamyr01 Hello, I have the same issue, 13900kf never boosting above 5.5, and noticed that it happens when I set Ram to manual.
Hi, yesterday I bought the 13900k for my Evga Dark Kingping, flashed the bios with the 2.03 beta version . Everything works fine, it is not my intention to OC my CPU, except for the G.Skill Trident Z5 6400 cl32 memories in XMP. I noticed that all the P Cores runs to 5.5Ghz and the E Cores to 4.3, is it also valid in my case to enable C state and then disable C1 to boost the two P Cores to 5.8Ghz? As I am a newbie, can someone tell me where I can perform this procedure? Is there a specific entry in the bios to disable C1? A screenshot would help Thank you 🥲

Yeah, it's in the Advanced Tab, then CPU Configuration. There's an option for CPU C States and by default it is on "Auto".
