Dooms87 I wonder how this compares to the Benq XL2420TE http://www.benq.us/product/monitor/XL2420TE
Linus made a video talking about the complaint you all had that the 120-144 mhz monitors have horrible color reproduction but this last model of BenQ's line really went above and beyond to fix it.
Apples to oranges. the big deal is the ROG swift has G-sync. is 27" and 2560x1440

whiteskymage I am, and I tell you what guys, Just to remind you all for 1 thing: If you are 3D gaming, I guess this is a monitor for you - this monitor is 3D vision capable meaning that you can play 3D vision games on 1080p (if you want 1440p you need to spam, scream, demand to Nvidia to update their 3D vision support driver) if you get the Nvidia 3D vision kit. Make sure you have the needed performance to keep fixed 60FPS, because when you switch it on, G-Sync will switch off and you will be gaming on V-Sync. Generally for 3D vision, SLI is strongly recommended. Other than that, just have fun! You have a 3D vision/G-Sync monitor combo!
It is capable of 3D vision at 1440P according to JJ at ASUS.

Well the more I review the specs, this monitor is basically what I have been looking for all along. I do wish it would be a few $100 cheaper. At most $699 price point. Looks like I will be saving my pennies.

I'll take one. My gawd I've been waiting for a good 2560*1440 monitor for a year or so now.

They're actually pushing the monitor back because they are improving it However I can't wait much longer either, I hate waiting.

Well if he says so then it's even better, hope it's true or I will be so mad at Nvidia for being lazy.

1440p 3D Vision has been confirmed its just weather it will support 120hz or 144hz. I'm hoping 144hz which would really seal this monitor as a great monitor.

It will support 144hz in normal operation. Its just if it supports it in 3D Vision.

Hey guys, Asuming that you are building a system with an i7 4930K @ 4.5 GHz, and SLI gpus, Which pair of SLI GPUs do you think will be able to give enough performance for 3D vision @ 1440p @ 60FPS (or more) + TXAA x8-16 + PhysX + HBAO on a heavy graphically intensive game? GTX 780 x2 (OCed)? GTX 780Ti x2 (OCed)? GTX Titan Black x2 (OCed)? GTX Titan Z x2 (OCed)?

Depends on how far your budget will stretch. 2x780ti's would be quite nice. However, 2x Titan Z's would be AMAZING given they are dual GPU cards, but they are also $3000 each...
