I've been using these 2 since the PG278Q came out. As he said, it'll be just fine. Enjoy. How is this thread still alive?

Wont work on a Kingpin 980 Ti.. Not the panels fault though.

What surprises me is that the PG278Q has been out for over 2 years now, yet the prices are still up around $670+ at most retailers, not far off what they were 2+ years ago (I think it was around $760 at first release?)... which I guess says something about how good this model is. I purchased a PB278Q which is similar but 60Hz instead of 144Hz and slower response time (5ms) but with better color gamut, however the price on that model has dropped right down to around $370 now (was about $600+ originally if I recall correctly).

I'd like to try a PG278Q but almost $700 is a lot of money for a model 2+ years since release, particularly when you may have to deal with ASUS' notoriously bad support if you get a faulty one.

FYI the PG279Q came out about this time last year and can be found for $760 - $799 new.
