Drewl!!! I tell you bary, I don't even game on my SLI rig anymore. Gsync has completely ruined regular gaming for me. Only time I game is when I have time at work with the ASUS VG248QE(NVIDIA G-SYNC) cannot wait to replace this acer 27" 120hz with the Swift I haven't been this impatient or eager about something since the preview of the X79 Dark =)

Yep, I hear you. It was right about this time last year when we were constantly checking for the Dark's release...

Yeah, I wasn't really holding my breath for actually getting one in July as previously stated by ASUS.

Thanks you Nazca, As for your 4k comment and pricing. 4k is crap right now. those panels you mention don't have high HZ don't have Gsync. The Swift is going to be a first timer for 1440p at 144hz, a high grade TN and put Gsync (which is the reason I'm buying it and 1440P) and bam! I do think $800 is steep. when the 3d 120hz monitors came out at round $650 and then dropped into the $500-400 range within a few months, I'm really hoping that same thing happens with all these new Gsync monitors coming out. I swear this reminds me of waiting for the EVGA X79 Dark to release.

The problem with 4K is.... I don't want to spend another $2000 on Titan Blacks in SLi just to run @ my desired frame-rates Then be immediately disappointed as the 4k monitor 60Hz refresh rates can't keep up and I get screen tearing perpetuating the problem of FPS>Refresh Rates Instead of settling for 1440P and all around performance where FPS=Refresh no matter what

well, go with the Acers 4k Gsync monitor. 60FPS/HZ feels like 90FPS but better because no input lag no tearing...trust me Been using Gsync since febuary and It is awesome! For instance take a game like Rage or wolfenstein new order. Both are capped at 60fps due to ****ty developers doing crap console optimization across the board. Playing it with Gsync makes it feel like the FPS cap isn't even there.

BARY DONT SAY THAT!!!! It better not be like when the the Titan first rolled out. I think it's going to be easy to find and purchase. Not a lot of people out there willing to fork out $800+ bones Not to mention from what I've been reading most "gamers" don't even understand Gsync really. Then there are the IPS snobs that keep comparing apples to oranges. I'm really hoping this will be like the 120hz 3D craze when it first launched then dropping in price.

I hope your predictions are accurate... If I hadn't been waiting so long already for this monitor, I wouldn't care as much if I missed the 1st round.
