killuchen I talked to a rep for TD and they said they will have more units on the 3rd week of September.
I just called TD this morning and the gentleman said they should be getting a shipment in 5-7 days. I asked if I am high enough on the list to be getting one and he said that there should be plenty. He did not give a number though. He also said it sometimes ships out the same day or next day! Hope my information is more correct than 3rd week of september.

After reading reviews.. that kind of what I'm gathering.. I want something that pushes the 780 SC's I have but not something that will punish them (4k). I do have a preferred account and may just have to do it....

I want one as much as the next guy, but i guess i don't NEED it asap so i am not mad. I have a 120 HZ LCD already. I just wanted the extra res mostly, gsync was a nice additive.

I feel the same way but I'm always a sucker for new tech lol. I'm currently using a 144hz asus 24" monitor. But with the same specs on a 27" with 2560x1440... can't pass that up. I just hope 1920x1080 doesnt look crappy on my 27" because I'm still going to be using my old res for cs:go

No doubt, new tech is awesome. Ill grab it as soon as i can reasonably grab one without playing the GTX 480 lottery

I'm really hoping Fedex don't screw up and not deliver mine on Fri as shown on the tracking info. If they miss the Fri delivery, I won't see it until Tue with the holiday... I plan on revisiting some of my games from last year with Gsync and the higher res over the weekend...

I think the employee's at Fry's in Anaheim officially hate my @ss. Called them again this morning to see if my store transfer came in yet. I can sense and hear major attitude on the phone. "we will call you ok sir!" me "ok just making sure"

That's not good... I wonder how many other calls he's getting about the Swift? Didn't you say you paid a premium to have them transfer one to this store?

I dunno. the sales reps there said they had a lot of people come in over the weekend asking for it. They get another shipment at that store on the 6th they said. Only 4 units.

Yeah, it appears that stock all over is just dribbling in. I would have thought that with this "one of a kind monitor" (currently), that ASUS would have had lots & lots of units flooding these stores. Guess not...

Unless the demand is just wayyy more than ASUS ever imagined. If so, good for them I guess.

Yah or Maybe Asus is taking the approach like Saitek did with the release of their X55 HOTAS. Made limited #'s to see how sales went then started pumping more out as the demand grew. who knows though.

Well it came "back in stock" (backorder became available, but when you click backorder it says "In Stock Limit 2"). I placed my order so we will see if it actually comes. If it does... I'll test it and if it's truly not something I like enough then I'll either refund or get it to another member here that wants it :)

Just got mine. Perfect pixels. Plugged right in and the nvidia drivers turned on gsync. Changed the hz to 144 and turned on the red ring on the base. Lots brighter than my old u2711

The default color profile (set to custom) seems about spot on. I am still trying to figure out how much brightness I want. As this is by far, the brightest monitor I have had. Played an hour or so of BF4. Makes the game so fluid. Tried it with gsync off for kicks. Cannot figure out how I played with out gsync. For a TN is is very good panel. No lag, no ghosting, fast response. Colors ok. Of course it will not beat the 3 eIPS screens i have for color, but I was not expecting it. Sajin, let me know what you come up with for a brightness setting.

Lets just put it as simple as I can :) I will not have another monitor for gaming unless it has gsync.
