I think it's time to give up. I've scoured the web and refreshed so many different sites to try and get one and every-time one appears they are gone within 10-20 seconds.
It's not physically possible to enter your info in to order the units. This has been the worst launch I can ever recall seeing. I am officially throwing a pre-order in and just waiting it out. Time to enjoy life again.. lol
This refreshing and trying to order one from sites just does not seem possible.

I just had my server run distill.io refreshing all the Amazon 3090 pages every 10 seconds and ping me when something changes. Got one yesterday when it came in stock for a whopping 90 seconds.
We're also probably in-between boats-from-china right now so restocks may not happen for another few weeks.

The inventory at launch is guesstimated to be less than 10% of the total volume that we will see between now and years end. GPU launches have never gone smoothly and the way the PC market has been for months because of everyone being home from COVID, and its effects on supply chains is making this one worse. Try to have some patience here.

I'll probably give up for awhile after next week if EVGA doesn't bring up their purchasing website with another Elite sale by then. Having to monitor that inventory bot stream on Twitch and play the F5 game with a dozen e-tailers hoping to even have a chance for a microsecond to get a graphics card is absurd.
Nvidia could have handled this SO much better by allowing backorders/preorders. Even without a guarantee to get anything before December I would have gladly done it just to get it out of the way and being able to stop playing this dumb "find the golden ticket" game. Getting a PS5 preorder was a piece of cake compared to this.

I agree. I think the Elite sale is the way to go to prevent some of the bots snatching up all the inventory.

I haven't given up but it is discouraging.
If I'm honest with myself I know there's really no way I'll get a 30XX any time soon. I have a FT job, a home and a family so I can only check vendors when time, work and family permit. With the apparent demand for these cards my odds of getting a card aren't 0 but they're not very good.
I'm not going to be able to play the F5 game but I will keep checking as I'm able and who knows maybe I'll get lucky.

NO WAY... just give it a few weeks. Hell, with all of the issues that have come out regarding these cards, let someone else beta test then buy your card in November/December. Bet most of these cards go on sale on Black Friday anyways; maybe only $50 or so, but that's still more money in my pocket.

Pretty much given up. I just purchased my daughter a gaming laptop since there seems little chance of a 3080/3090 in the near future. Every now and then I check the EVGA product page, but it's becoming less and less often, just seems a complete waste of time trying. The 2080Ti I have is a very good card anyway. Currently have CPU and GPU on AiO cooling and I was considering a complete rebuild with a full custom water loop for this upgrade, I even purchased an Optimus Signature V2 CPU water block for it (thanks SpareTimePC), but will hold off for now. Maybe if a Ti/Super comes out early next year - but likely we'll have the exact same problem with under-supply and **** bots then, so whatever, maybe the 4080 series, but NVidia never seems to learn their lesson. I will NEVER EVER buy from a scalper, that's for sure, and I curse anyone who does because it is just enabling them.

It's nothing but a scalpers market.
That is ok, I may have pulled the trigger on a 3090 and really not sure it is worth that big premium over 3080.
And I know I am not getting a 3080 and going backward in Vram over my 2080 Ti. One of my flight sims I measured whilst flying earlier and it was using 9.5 GB of Vram, and I have some games little more complex than that one.
But not much into paying around 1K more to have a card with 24GB of Vram.
Maybe wait and see if something comes out in between.
I am almost kind of glad can't get one, otherwise I might have been tempted to snag a 3090 FTW3.
Hoping my 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra handles Star Wars Squadrons in VR ok, hyped bout grabbing that one on the 2nd.

It's frustrating for sure and I'd like to get a 3080 so I can finalize my new build but at the end of the day I still have a perfectly functional 1440p 165FPS gaming system so it's not as if the world has ended.

Saw this post and reload the Newegg site. I immediately see the TUF and a Gigabyte card available only to add it to my cart and find out it isn't in stock. Time to go outside, stare up into the sky, shake my fist and scream KAAAAAAHHHHNNNN!

Yep. I can't beat the bots. Have had too many cards in carts and lost them. If EVGA doesn't do anything for Elite members again, I'm just gonna wait until I can more easily get one. Or if that doesn't happen before CP 2077, I'll pay ebay scalper price. I'm not missing the launch of that game without a 3080. Period.

Idk if it qualifies as giving up, but I never got on the "spam F5 and wait for hours for a 60s window to beat a bot to a card" train in the first place. I knew cards were going to be sold out pretty much instantly on launch, and my 2080 is still trucking along just fine. By the time I get one any QC/driver issues should be ironed out, and in the mean time I don't have to pull my hair out. Obviously I would like to get one sooner than later, and the bot issue is ridiculous, but it is what it is and I not going to stress myself out over something I want vs need.

I want to give up but I keep getting dragged back in. I'm definitely not trying as hard as I was around launch though. At this point I'm trying to wait until the RDNA2 launch to see how it stacks up before buying a card.

Not an EVGA card though, right? Asking because I believe Amazon hasn’t put any EVGA 3090 on sale yet. The pages are not even public yet it seems.

I've given up for the most part. Received several instock notices from newegg and had 1 in my cart to no avail. Actually got through checkout on evga for the site to just crap out on me. Don't get me wrong, my 1080 ti is stick kicking, but almost 3 years is the longest I've went on a video card since the 3dfx days.

Now that I am in the step up queue, I am simply not looking anymore. I have a 2070 super xc ultra overclocked card and my games play at 100+fps@1440p. So I can sit tight and just wait knowing I am getting 100% retail value of my card. I do wish my spot in the queue would come up quick. But I am happy with what I have now. I am not in a rush at all.

I would guess that the Demand is 10X times the supply right now.
And don't buy on Ebay. Let the scalpers die in a fire with Graphics Cards that no one will buy.
