It looks like Adorama isn’t doing anymore preorders on the EVGA cards for now. Have you heard any intel on when the FTW3 Ultra Hybrids will be launched?

No I haven't heard anything I haven't even heard when the FTW3 is going to be released its still showing boost Clock to be determined in the EVGA store that's not very encouraging i gess

Yeah I agree 100%. I haven’t heard anything either, and you’re right that they don’t even have boost clock specs up for the FTW3 yet. Guess we will just have to play the waiting game for now.

Not sure what to make of the number scheme, but being at 761 I’m certain there is not a 30 minute gap from 11:05est to 11:36est and there only being 5 to 6 orders in that time period. I ordered a FTW3 ultra myself.

I'm 369. Remember it's just a rumor and likely false. I imagine by the end of the day we'll all know the truth. I ordered @ 10:29 AM EST. Supposedly the link had been live since 9 AM EST, at least from what I heard. I'm hopeful, but also worried.

This is a brand new model and it is in high demand. Currently, there is no official ETA from the manufacturer when we will receive our shipment. They determine when we get each batch and how many we receive per batch. Orders are fulfilled in the order we received them, on a first come first serve basis. O.k. just got done talking to Adorama about Backorders and this is what I was told.

Thanks for the information y’all. Not much information from Adorama. I believe that if we get more people to provide their time of order, last 3 digits of their order number, and what gpu they purchased we may piece together our placement in queue. 3 of us here are on order number 7xx and ordered from 11:05 to 11:37est. Millkillbride ordered at 10:29 est and is order 369. Are is the first digit of the last 3 digits the batch or group or orders? Maybe the first digit represents the gpu version purchased? Hopefully we more People posting on this thread so we can make some determinations.

I think Adorama is telling the truth that the number means nothing. If you read back, I posted about how I monitored the stock levels and they didn't even have that many cards available to have sold that many.

I have to agree with this, but just to throw my data in I ordered a ftw3 ultra around 10:35am est and got 314 as my last 3 on the order number. I did start working at 8am that day and had adorama open on my tabs for the occasional refresh, and I didn't see the preorders before 10am. Earliest confirmed order I've seen on various forums was something like 10:15am est but obviously I can't say for certain when it started.
evga 970 ssc to evga 1080 ti sc2 to (hopefully) an evga 3080 ftw3 Evolution.

I have my ftw3 ultra ordered @ 8:05AMPST, order# 761 markuaw1 ftw3 ultra ordered @ 8:36AMPST, order# 767 Heavenswake ftw3 ultra ordered @ 8:27AMPST, order# 777 theblues_1905 ftw3 ultra ordered @ 7:35AMPST order# 314 The times and order# do not have any correlation as order# 777 was ordered earlier than #767 Also, the follow up email regarding the gpus still being in backorder at Adorama refer to a different order number, mine ending in 755 and markuaw1 ending in 115 Nothing to make of the information it seems
