http://www.t-balancer.com...produkt_tban_bigng.htm I send (with this device's support) 12v as a PWM from varying frequencies to my Solid State Relay's control circuit to turn it on and off, allowing fully control of the TEC's voltage. Depending on fluid temps it either will elevate the voltage to it's max or lower it to prevent condensation. This is achieved by those varying frequencies of the PWM. I can monitor and control everything via software in windows. What had happened was when I was moving things a wire connected to the wrong side of the SSR and well now the tBalancer is R.I.P, another one on the way. T

With that T-balancer you can only control up to 80W per channel, with 4 channels that up to 320W total. Does that company have another model of T-balancer to control more powerful TEC's?

I am controlling the CONTROL circuit on the SSR which only requires like .15a and a voltage signal from 3.5-32v. (SSR=solid state relay). I am indirectly controlling them. I got the inspiration from another gentlemen on another forum who is going above and beyond when it comes to TEC control.

I've seen Arqtik cooling controller melt on the power connector going to the TEC's, i have pictures of it if you don't believe me (not my set up but their premade kit). As for as I know this was an isolated instance and I believe the board was possibly shorted against the case. In any case any issues with the tec connector has been resolved on later vesions on the controller. Interesting build.

I had to put a hold on the project, getting married soon and moving around has put this in a cardboard box off to the side.
