Mathieas I noticed something while running Port Royal. The highest FPS in the test is the shot of the ship comming into the port from the top. My FPS on this point starts at 109 or 108 and slowly decays to 104 or so. I had one run where I was able to get that point(didn't finish) but the fps was jump between 109 to 95 and back to the next decayed value. How does your behave at that part?
Mine does the samething as high as 108fps too.

Mine only jumps on 200, which eventually fails the run. On my good runs it's decays slowly like .1 fps at a time. What about @+100 or stock? How does it behave?

EVGA will makes things right. They haven't sent out the full stock of 3090 Hybrids it seems and I'm certain they're smart and reserve some on the side for RMAs just like yours.

I ran it at stock settings and goes from 99fps down to 63fps. What is thus high performance shader you are talking about?

Mathieas I noticed something while running Port Royal. The highest FPS in the test is the shot of the ship comming into the port from the top. My FPS on this point starts at 109 or 108 and slowly decays to 104 or so. I had one run where I was able to get that point(didn't finish) but the fps was jump between 109 to 95 and back to the next decayed value. How does your behave at that part?
Mine does the samething as high as 108fps too.
Stable decay? or jumps?
Jumps.
Mine only jumps on 200, which eventually fails the run. On my good runs it's decays slowly like .1 fps at a time. What about @+100 or stock? How does it behave?
I ran it at stock settings and goes from 99fps down to 63fps. What is thus high performance shader you are talking about?
This is a setting in the Nvidia Control panel. Quality is the default setting. Setting it to high perf I gained 42 pts in score.

Nereus 3090 FTW3 Ultra (NOT HYBRID) ..adding for comparison. Memory +1000, GPU +150, Port Royal 14,100 - and that seems to be as good as I'm going to get on air on this card. https://www.3dmark.com/pr/585496 These cards seem to have a heavy thermal throttle.
I get that with Memory +0 and Gpu +150 . My theory: I think Higher Memory clocks throttle GPU available power, because Memory takes alot of power. Try with Mem +0 and test again with GPU +150~170. I'm Curious about your score then. I think your power throttles before your temps. (I noticed the average GPU clock doesn't increase after a point and is less stable.)
Sorry for the delay. Tried with same settings except +0 on memory. Dropped ~200 points. :/

Placed the order for the 3090 hybrid XC3 should be here by the 16th. Wanted the FTW3 but with supply how it is I’ll take it. Wonder how the 2x 8pins treat me VS the 3x 8pin on the higher end versions

The max power target is 150Wx2(8pin) + 75W (the slot) = 375W. That could limit you on the 3090. I would be very interested in the results you get with your new card. Regardless, congrats on the 3090! Very happy for you that you were able to snag one :-D. Do you know what the XC3 bios power limit is?

No I do not. I’ve only had a couple hours after work to look at benchmarks of cards using the founders edition as comparison to some of the AIB cards with 3x 8 pins not seeing to much of a difference really. Just like with my 1080 TI At the end of the day I’ll just put a basic stable over clock on it an never fiddle with it again unless a new game is unstable I’ll still be happy with the 100% performance bump lol

Hows the pump noise compared to the 20 series. I heard Jacob mentioning you can't co took the pump and any loud whine like the 20 series concerns me.
