Here's the new version of PX1:
https://www.evga.com/precisionx1/

After installing, go to the ReBAR icon at the top, and click the update button.  This will update your card to the latest BIOS for what your card currently shows in PX1.

If you installed a hybrid kit on your card, I recommend using the force flash on the BIOS page here first:  https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-30-Series-HYBRIDXOCDefault-BIOS-Thread-m3407542.aspx, and then updating the card through PX1.  Obviously, no need to do this if you purchased the XC3 HYBRID card.

Thanks for the hard work.

One question, should I uninstall old version of PX1, then install new, or can install over it?  Will it save my curve fan profile?  or I would need to recreate?

Thanks!

I would just install PX1 over the old version.  That would probably be the best way to keep your settings intact.

Just to confirm, before the update, we should make sure that we have CSM and Fast Boot disabled in the motherboard's BIOS?

Flashed the new Bios to my card and WOW, getting close to 19000 on stock settings and the core voltage is a lot higher at ranging from .93 to .95 in timespy. This is a lot better than the past stock settings giving me low 18000s scores and my core voltage being limited to .8 ~.812ish

Yes!!! I just tested it out. I'm averaging over 360w now and my max board draw was 376.3 386.2! Much improved, much appreciated!

I'm getting the 3080 ti xc3 gaming tomorrow. And, I've never flashed a bios on any of my previous gpus. Are there any precautions or steps to follow prior to updating the bios? Thank you.

See kram's answer to speedysloth's question a few posts above.  That's really all you need to do.

Interesting.....odd I didn't need to update to 1.2.4 to have the latest bios......guess I'll continue to be capped at 289w...oh well. Appreciate the effort with other people's cards though.

Have you updated your BIOS recently? Leem's comment does say that there is a BIOS update for 3953 and if your's the latest then you must have the power fix bios.

I just updated my 3080 TI XC3 - 3953 and has bios now:  94.02.71.80.BF

here are my time spy results, looks better, not huge difference getting about 380 more points then before, I was getting 19005 before, but looks like my Clock is better.  I should add I was not having major issue so no complaints, but I don't mind more performance , and this is at stock

Here was my previous results before I upgraded BIOS just to compare

Also tested a quick game and ran benchmark of Red Dead Red Demption 2, getting constant 345 - 347 Watt, where as before I was getting 330, so definitely an improvement and saw 1950 mhz on average as clock speeds

That's the latest.

Just so you guys know, these BIOS versions have been "live" for a little over a day, so even if you were on an older version of PX1, it might have offered you this BIOS to download before PX1 v1.2.4 was available.  These new versions are also different than the beta versions that I provided to members.

I think it's going to affect everyone differently. Some people were stuck at 280-300W, imagine the clock bins when them accessing 350-366W of power now. But if some of you were already pushing 320-330W, then an extra 15-30W will probably get you a bin (15 Mhz) or two (30 Mhz).

So any chance were going to get an increased target power for at least the HC models? At stock clocks I hit power limit all the time with temps in the 40's

You can hope but I doubt it. A XOC hasn't been released for the 3080 and 3090 XC3s, I don't see one coming out for the 3080 Ti. But never say never I guess.

I would recommend the card now, it can match a FE but it has way better cooling for Vram and EVGA support.

Just to provide another datapoint, I updated my XC3 Gaming (3953) and my graphics score went from 18540 to 19039. This seems comparable to the FE and about in line with what I'd expect from a base model card.

Comparison: compare/spy/21687946/spy/22070332 (I can't post the full link, sorry; add 3dmark DOT com at the start)

At least in Time Spy, it looks like average temp went up 3c, with peak temp maybe 1c higher. I could probably squeeze more performance out of the card with a more aggressive fan curve or a hybrid kit.

I'll look at power draw, temp, and fan RPM in gaming later on.

XC3 HC - I'm running on some older hardware yet so not bothering with time spy scores at the moment, playing around with overclocks though. GPU-Z is showing a power spike up to 425.9 at one point, going to run some more tests and see if it's something I can reproduce but I have a stable overclock right now of +500 on memory and +135 on core with no extra voltage, going to see how much further I can push it.

2070 GPU clock
48.7C Max Temp
Average Max Board Power Draw 374.1 W

Seeing power limit spikes to 107-110

I just updated my 3080 TI XC3 - 3953 and has bios now:  94.02.71.80.BF

here are my time spy results, looks better, not huge difference getting about 380 more points then before, I was getting 19005 before, but looks like my Clock is better.  I should add I was not having major issue so no complaints, but I don't mind more performance , and this is at stock

Also tested a quick game and ran benchmark of Red Dead Red Demption 2, getting constant 345 - 347 Watt, where as before I was getting 330, so definitely an improvement and saw 1950 mhz on average as clock speeds

I think it's going to affect everyone differently. Some people were stuck at 280-300W, imagine the clock bins when them accessing 350-366W of power now. But if some of you were already pushing 320-330W, then an extra 15-30W will probably get you a bin (15 Mhz) or two (30 Mhz).

oh yeah I am not complaning, in fact very happy for the extra performance whatever it is, maybe I will try to overclock now just to see if I can get more out of it but for games I think I am great right now!
