But why USA first? Now i am sad. How long should i wait? :_(

Because it's a US company? LOL  I mean if it were the other way around and we wanted something from the EU, they'd get it first before the US does and pay their ridiculous VAT taxes, fees, etc which will be more than the US counterparts.

Can the mods create a sub forum for other regions of the world so we don't have to get a mix bag of complaints that are irrelevant to the states pls?!

But maybe this is the EU Forum? Just think about it. Edit: LOL you are irrelevant.

EVGA has one forum for both EU and US citizens. Can we now stop all the political and irrelevant posts pls?

All of this is a load of bull. EVGA is doing nothing and saying nothing when they said they're monitoring this thread. The greed and the lack sense of responsibility is so strong that after all this I definitely will take my money elsewhere. It's sickening to leave so many people left in the dark knowing barely anything with every update being uncertain.

Let's use this thread as intended. Throwing a fit and stamping your feet doesn't help at all. All that does is clog up this thread and make it harder to find relevant information.

There's barely any relevant information to begin with. Updates once a day and ensues a flood of "thank you" replies for an update that only 1 person in the company can say and even then he's unsure of. The whole thread is already a mess.

Did you bother reading the rest of the comments on the thread you started before running around to different threads irrelevant to your issue like a chicken with it's head caught off?  It seems as you said, your GPU was working prior to the X1 so obviously it's a software issue and it could be a combination with the new Windows update you admitted to updating too.  Let's calm down before running around and creating unwanted panic.  Just run the GPU at bare minimum with just the drivers.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

It seems that Precision X1 is flashing something to the card that is not ment for the FTW3 cards, so maybe the 2080Ti FTW3 will do have the same problem! I just wanted you to know this before you also brick your cards.

The GPU also does the same in a totally different PC. EVGA_Jacob told me that I have to flash it to get it working again so it's a hardware problem.

There's also at least one person here that has a 2080 Ti FTW 3 that isn't having the problem.

So it might be a combination of items that is specific to your situation and when Precision X1 was thrown in the problem showed up.

Get Jacob to send you the bios and force flash it with nvflash?

This. Why return a hard to get card if the hardware is fine and it's just a bios firmware problem? Maybe someone with a working FTW3 can dump their bios using gpuz that you can flash with nvflash64?

Also, I assume you didn't have Precision X1 installed on the second computer you tried?

Probably 3-5 business days. Customer support apparently don't know anything and can't do anything else except cancel preorders from what I found out.

Monday like you. UPS doesn't deliver on weekends (Sat-Sun), or at least doesn't in my area. I see things changing in certain other states this past year.

I am thinking there might be a few that have not gone through too many pre-orders.
This really is not all that unusual, especially with a new generation Nvidia card launch.

And with the FTW 3, we are talking a custom made card which obviously takes a little more time.
And this thread we are talking a 2080 Ti FTW3, when is the last time we saw a Ti card launch at the same time as the regular cards? Normally we would have to wait an additional 6 months to a year for the Ti.

EVGA can only give approximates on their initial pre-orders which is what they did. They were not "guaranteed" to ship between 3 and 4 weeks. And they are at Nvidia's mercy just like all the other partners.
I want my RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra too, I really do. But at the same time I also consider myself fortunate to even have been able to get a pre-order in, many did not and are waiting just to get an opportunity to place an order, much less get it in hand.

Mine came today.
Fun fact #1, nvidia driver I had didn’t recognize the card. Wouldn’t even let me download the updated drivers... thankfully I was able to get them from evga’s website and all worked great.

Fun fact #2, I’m running 3 monitors, my main on a display port cable, the sides are older and on dvi. The card has no dvi, but came with a single dvi to hdmi... that takes up the single hdmi port on the card... so I’m down a monitor till I get an adapter.

Fun fact#3, Percision xOC wouldn’t change the led’s on the card or run different fan curves. But their new X1 software worked perfectly

Haven’t had a chance to game on it yet. Will keep ya posted.

Hah, yeah, I totally bought HDMI to DP and VGA to DP cables for this very reason. ;)

I meant to, but forgot lol, ah well. Easy fix.

So my card replaced a 1080FTW Hybrid... scared me at first, plug it in, no fans spinning... going through various desktop programs, nothing, temp says it’s holding firm in the low 30’s... wasn’t till there was some real load on the card did the fans spin up, and even after multiple passes in timespy it hasn’t broke 60c yet. Things are looking good for this non hybrid
