It's pretty apparent to me that they are waiting on chips from Nvidia. MSI has said 2080 ti yields are low and they aren't getting shipped many chips. Same is going to hold true for EVGA.

It's got to be something like this. I highly doubt EVGA wants upset customers. The delays are more than likely something out of their control. Sure EVGA is late and it sucks but can we all just cut them some slack?

Anyone from 9/8 get a notification yet?

9/7 here and no shipping for me yet. My order is still in preorder.

Crazy. They must have had a quite a bit of pre-orders just on 9/7. I ordered mine within around 5 minutes of pre-orders going up, so my card is on the way. Hopefully they get the rest of 9/7 and 9/8 out on Monday or soon after.

So you mean to tell us that no shipments for the 2080ti FTW3 preorders are happening tomorrow either? No comment on any form of compensation since it will be well over your estimated ship date..

Unreal so no preorders shipping until next week. What a joke. If any 2080 Ti pops up I'm cancelling this.

sorry i stopped reading this thread last friday when the news came that they wouldnt be shipping and that there may be some movement/update on monday (monday of this week). so here we are at the end of the week... have ANY of the FTW3 preorders gone out?

Yes some early Sep 7th preorders have been shipped but that's it..

Wow.  Yea if this doesn't ship soon I'm just canceling.  Will go with Asus or something else for once.

However was this only for the US shop? What about Europe? Did anyone receive an update on their preorder?

It's always US. Europe is a week behind. FTW3 preorders were available on 7th of Sep in US, but only 11th in Europe; that's almost a full week.
 
Interesting if there'll be tariff cost splitting as manufacturers will try to split the hit from US import tariffs to spill onto EU customers so US customers don't take all the 25% hit. Maybe even expect delays so to push people to give up on preorder prices and probably buy at higher prices at later time. :)

We are already paying for this in the EU. I payed about $ 1690 here in the EVGA Shop on the 9/12. We pay more, get less information and will getting our cards later.

Not really. That's VAT. :) US has "sales tax" you pay at the point of sale or at the end of the year. Or never.
But this is different - import from Asia will cost. As far as we know, cards first go to the USA then to EU. Also, manufacturers will probably split costs for the pure reason of doing so and charging less at home.

But why USA first? Now i am sad. How long should i wait? :_(

Absolutely wrong. The 2080TI FTW3 should've shipped on the 10th according to the mail from eu support i got on the 6th. 
 
Also you quite don't understand international politics. EU will sooner or later lawfully forbid companies to sell their products for more in the eu because of US Citizens unable to go voting. So you will definitly sit on your 25% price increase. Have fun with it.

US citizens and their voting has to do with EU? We sit at 19% due to VAT. The import price is important and it's not a given, but I expect US will spill over some cost (yes by making it even price, which is the case now, probably 13% up). We can import from Asia directly, for any and for EU manufacturers, so we can also not care, but...
 
Nothing has shipped on the 10th and I think nothing will ship at least before 17th. :/

Because it's a US company? LOL  I mean if it were the other way around and we wanted something from the EU, they'd get it first before the US does and pay their ridiculous VAT taxes, fees, etc which will be more than the US counterparts.
 
Can the mods create a sub forum for other regions of the world so we don't have to get a mix bag of complaints that are irrelevant to the states pls?!

From what I read video card prices will largely remain unaffected due to where most of the parts are fabbed & assembled. Most places are in Taiwan & not China. From what Evga is saying it’s their own shipment that got delayed. I haven’t seen issues with cards from other manufacturers pre-orders impacted like this. Even Newegg completely removes the EVGA cards from their online store.
