I'm annoyed that we're not getting it as it was planned, but to see it from both sides of this, it was a estimation.
But I feel you're bashing EVGA just for the sake of bashing, it's not adding anything valuable, if you have a complaint they have a complaint part on the forums.

Let's just wait, we will all get it sooner or later, hopefully sooner. All I wish is our pre-orders were worth it, and that we get it faster than people going and buying it from Amazon.
Better PR would also be great.

To be honest if my card isn't shipped by Friday night I'll be canceling my card and buying a different one from another big brand because the communication has been shocking it's almost as if they don't care. A simple email stating what the heck is going on, what they're doing to fix the issue and an apology would go a LONG way do they not have any PR / a community manager??? we're paying a LOT of money for this product and so far the service isn't too great and is super annoying because I love EVGA cards.
 
If you don't have enough stock you simply stop the pre-orders therefore no-one will be buying stock they're really not getting. I also dislike how people are treating this as a non issue and even defending EVGA on what is happening, I'm a huge EVGA fan and recommend it to anyone that asks whats a good GPU to buy so i'm not blindly hating on EVGA. This is my first purchase from EVGA directly and the way it's going it might be my last, yes I know the shipping date they gave at first was a "estimate" shipping date but c'mon getting closer to the launch date (1-3 days) you would have known if you couldn't fulfill the orders so an email could have been sent out to the effecting customers stating that the order has been delayed.
 
COMMUNICATION IS KEY in this situation, the longer you leave the customers in the dark the more hatred the company will receive.

For what reason should you get it quicker than people buying from Amazon??? we're paying the same amount, I ordered weeks ago so I'm in the same boat. They should all be shipped out at the same time.

Pre-Order, that's why. We should be classed as a priority, pre-orders first, major resellers second. 
 
Also, pre-orders pay slightly less. I think I paid £760. it's £799 on Amazon.

I pre-ordered on amazon. Essentially the same thing. I actually paid £795 for mine, had a £5 voucher. EVGA should aim to get these cards out to the UK by the 12th at the latest.

Honestly, it's a bit of reverse thinking on your part, to think that because you didn't get your card within seconds of release, that it will effect how good the card is.  It has nothing to do with the hardware, those of you bashing the card due to a ton or pre-orders not being able to be processed within seconds need to relax.  I have a 9 year old with more patience. 

I'm so glad you can mindread and exactly know what I'm thinking. Saves me some time. And you know, it's not like we have any reason to doubt either information or quality coming from EVGA. Nothing bad ever happened... Perhaps you should have consulted your 9 year old before commenting on my post

Once again you prove the point though.  You are expecting the card to not be good simply based on not getting it shipped on an "estimated" date.  It's childish, just like he is.  Maybe you should look up the definition of the word "estimate" and come back once you've learned grownup talk?

Did you see me say what you think I said ? No, so let me clarify for you: I don't expect the card not to be good based on an estimated shipping date. I expect the card not to be good because of my previous experience with my 1080's as a whole. Unfortunately, since I want to keep my options open of putting a 2nd card below the 1st, my choices are limited. Maybe you should come back once you've learned how to read comprehensive.

So you pre-ordered a card you expect to be bad, then complained when it didn't ship on the first date of estimated shipping... more money than brains I suppose?

well i just got an email ( im EU ) my card now has a shipping date ..   :   Your estimated pre-order shipping date is 10 May 2017
 
so i gotta wait 2 more weeks.... if it ships then that is...
