Quick update, for those with existing US preorders that said 5/1 ETA that has not yet shipped, we are updating the page to show the updated shipping ETA of 5/5. Again apologize for the few day delay here, we are on track to ship all the (5/1) orders by 5/5. Of course getting these orders shipped is our #1 priority right now, first step is to see orders being charged early Friday or even Thursday night.

We really do appreciate the updates. However, for the (I'm sure) hundreds of customers not on the forums, can some of these updates also be sent via e-mail? The pre-order page being updated is probably a large enough update to warrant an e-mail being sent out to all 5/1 customers with unfulfilled pre-orders.

Unfortunately, the birthday boy will be getting an IOU on Sunday.  I paid for Next-Day service to help ensure his FTW3 would arrive before his birthday this Sunday.  The original estimated delivery date fell on a Monday, so I thought paying for faster delivery would help cover any short delay beyond the estimated shipping date.
 
No matter, Murphy must work for EVGA, and he decided to strike hard with a four-day slip into Friday, essentially destroying my logistical ploy and wasting some serious next-day shipping coinage.
 
Dudes, what a total bummer.  I don't know about you, but I really hate IOU birthday gifts...

Said release was 5/1
Got mail today that says its been pushed to 5/10

This is literally the first time I have gotten a "delayed shipment mail" waaaaaay after the initial release date.
Every other site would have notified you on the day it was supposed to ship. Even an obscure site that sell coffee mugs.


Not bothered by the delay overall.. The service is what's lacking.
Having to trawl a forum to get news is not how I want to find out whats going on.

Why are you ignoring customers from other countries other than the US? you keep giving updates for US customers and leaving everyone else in the dark??

I am from EU and had a email today stating this:
Thank you again for pre-ordering an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 graphics card. This email is to notify you that unfortunately we are not able to ship your card on the original estimated date (1 May 2017).
Your estimated pre-order shipping date is 10 May 2017.
 
So not everyone outside US is in the dark

can anyone tell me if i paid for overnight shipping will i get a delivery on saturday if it ships friday? if i ordered directly from EVGA

Well, cuz why the hell not, right? lol. oh well. 

I pre ordered my cards on 04/28/17 at 10:13:38 pst so hopefully mines ship then

You didn't have to do anything, you got an e-mail telling you what was happening.  You came to the forums to whinge about it.

Might be, but given that I have all sorts of pre-orders other than a GPU that digs into my wallet, on the day of shipping.
I very much appreciate being informed when something is delayed, just like with all my other pre-orders, most of it being shipped at the end or start of the month.
The fact that I need to check up on the forum for any amount of time, cause no info was given to an order to 800+€, is actually annoying af.
And the forum then being useless cause everything is apparently favored for the US did not help.
Then learning the shipping date is even later than US by 5 days just adds up.
But hey ok, fine. Its cool. I can live with delay, being uninformed is the piss tho.
Dint have to do anything ?
You might feel that way, I dint.
I was on the verge to email them the 2/5. Had other pressing matters tho and that dint get delivered to the right address.
Guess you live in a nice flower with no stress.

EU should have received an email, other regions will have update tomorrow.

Also Oregon, also delayed.
