Sadly didn't get to preorder the FTW3, it was already soldout.  Hopefully I will be able to get ether a FTW3 black or red card.

So apparently EVGA removed the estimated shipping date May the 1st from product page few days ago，but my preorder page of ftw3 still shows May 1st. do anyone else have the same shipping date here？I wonder if it is about first round of preorders？

My pre-order still says shipping date as May 1st.

We are still on schedule for FTW3.

I have been waiting months and months for this card, a few days extra is not the end of the world.
You would be surprised over the years how many seemingly small things like this result in threads like "evga just lost my business for all of eternity" or something similar.

Its impressive how you can easily look back and see where some users have posted the same thing multiple times.. then the next release hits, and they say the exact same thing.

I vowed to never coms back if they didnt fix the 780ti classified when it was released (bios issues) and then they fixed it and i ate my words.. figured it was completely pointless after that incident, so i just decided to wait patiently because sometimes external things cause a holdup.

I vowed to never touch a certain game recording software after they tried to delete my comments when i requested help from them, and then told me they wouldnt refund my money through paypal.. paypal didnt find their emails amusing and sent me the money back anyway and so they banned me from their forums.

I currently have the 1080 ti Strix, but I'm not very happy with it so I will be returning it shortly.

What was the problem you had with the Strix? 

Coil whine under load, extremely loud without limiting FPS, a bit quieter with limiting the FPS, but still quite audible outside of my case.  My screen flickers when entering/exiting fullscreen videos.  The video of some of my games, especially Grim Dawn, would randomly freeze while the game audio would continue and I could hear my character dying.  Other random game crashes, weird startup issues where my monitors either wouldn't turn on, or one of them would just cycle RGB colors.
 
This is regardless of overclocking software.  The other components of my computer are all new within the last 8 months and my previous 1070 Strix was running just fine.  I got a new EVGA gold 850 watt PSU, but the coil whine didn't go away.  I also reinstalled Windows and nothing changed.

Dang, 6 years is a loooong time with a GPU.  This one is going to blow that one's socks right off.

Yup, he did say at the end of this month or so, for the FTW3.

On Elite he said, still working on it and maybe next week or so.  So I speculate 1-2 weeks at the most, maybe 3 if they are jam packed over there on these releases and trying to get everything set for shipping.

I kinda came a tad late on the stream so correct me if I misspoke to those that were there from the beginning.  I only missed roughly the first 15 mins to it while they were talking about all of this.
