Charges in the US will be made on the day the card ships, or possibly one day earlier. I am unfortunately not able to speak for our EU office. 

In the EU there are quite a few regulations regarding purchasing and shipment of items. If I am correct (I could be wrong) items are charged once shipped or about to ship unless a company specifically states that payments for pre-orders must be done beforehand. In such a case a payment could be pending based on a pre-order status.

Though I wouldn't complain if it happened today or Friday if you want to ship me mine earlier.

It seems like May 1st will be the day. At least in the US.

My order status just changed to "Order Status: Order Shipping, Pending Pickup from UPS". Looks like on schedule, or a tad earlier than estimated. FYI.

One of the support staff said "Staff member from EU will respond soon." and they never responded... Great.

Actually the reason evga wins a new loyal is that their attitude about the faulty first batch of original 1080 ftw really make me like them，no excuse，just good attitude and quick action. If they open a airline company，would definitely better than some other guys.

I wasn't in the lot that shipped today so I guess Monday it is...
 
My order was only 11 minutes after they went on pre-order as well.

As someone who works on the weekends (Sat/Sun are just another work day for me) I'm just setting here fuming because we ship stuff on weekends and I still have to impatiently wait.
 
Just one more day (hopefully) and then I get to stare at a tracking number for a few days because UPS Ground is slow AF.

I share the whole not working weekend sentiment, I have never been a 9 to 5er so it's hard for me to understand but it is what it is, I should get my SC2 tomorrow, 14 days after the estimated shipping date.  There is now tracking number with the ground shipping BTW, just a delivery date.  
 
Although I was disappointed with eh whole pre order lack of communication EVGA makes a great product and stands behind it and in the end that's what is important. 
 
I'm sure in a month you will forget about the wait and will be enjoying top notch performance.

Why are you fuming? The stated estimated date for shipping to begin was 1 May and it's not 1 May yet.

I share your frustration but it was only ever an estimated date, plus this was for shipping to start.

Logistics are difficult if the product wasn't ready from the manufacturers until very recently. Sounds like they are shipping to the US and UK from NL at the same time. Add a few more days for the cumbersome EU shipping and it should be here by the second week of May if not before

 
Fuming probably wasn't the best word to use. Frustrated is more like it. I've worked weekends for the past 8 years so I always find it odd with the whole no business on the weekends thing that most businesses do. That said, Amazon 2 day free shipping has spoiled all other shipping for me. I hate waiting.

I get stuff shipped via UPS ground all the time with tracking numbers. Not sure why this would be different but it is what it is.

Pre ordered my FTW3 on the 28th of march off the AU EVGA website and still no word on payment etc. Some information would be greatly appreciated.
