1. (Step 1) Applied May 22nd 9:10 am (UTC+2) 2. Europe - France 3. (Step 2) Queue pending ... Blaexe
ADANDC650 Is it true that you now have to put down the latest price of the original card instead of what's on your invoice? That would mean I would have to pay an extra $90.... that's over $200 for the step-up!
As far as I understand, the mentioned difference is based on different exchange rates now and then.
I'm in Europe (France) and did purchase the iCX upgrade and I am currently in queue pending for the step-up. I initially got the 1080 SC back in last December for 749.99€. I got a replacement as part of a RMA in January (MSRP still 749,99€). I paid the iCX upgrade in May to the 1080 SC2 for 99,99€. After contacting supportn I've been informed the SC2 value in my case is actually worth 749.99€ (and not 749.99 + 99.99 as I thought first). So it seems indeed this is latest price of the original card which matters. Here's the breakdown for my situation (as seen in my product details) : 1080 SC2 iCX -> 1080 Ti SC Black = 73.22€ (813.22 - 749.99) (incl. shipping from EVGA) In the end : 1080 SC ACX -> 1080 SC2 iCX -> 1080 Ti SC Black = 923.20€ (749.99 + 99.99 + 73.22) (excl. shipping old cards to EVGA) I hope prices won't change.

ADANDC650 Ah ok. My invoice was $599 for a GTX 1080 ACX. and I'm in America so I should be good to go then.
Depends. Did you go for the 1080 ACX to 1080 iCX upgrade? In that case it would be the original price of the 1080 iCX at retail before the price drops when 1080Ti was released. That's what was used as my stepup trade value.

Just hit step 3 on my step up from 1070 to 1080Ti SC. Waiting for payment confirmation and then I'll be shipping my card out. Down side is that I probably need to order a new power supply now that I'm going up to the 1080Ti. Only have a 500W (decent quality) in my box. Will probably bump up to 650W just in case. :)

Step up GTX 1080 FTW ACX 3.0 Towards 1080 Ti FE edition.
I e-mailed EVGA about the SC Black being available on Step Up 1 day after I sign up for the FE. They made me pay the price difference of 20 usd right off and changed my step up to the SC Black.. I am so amazed by the customer service at EVGA.. What a difference with Gigabyte and Asus !!!!
So yeah, step 3 out of 5, sending my payment tonight... 167 $ US of step up, quite a deal if you ask me :P

Applied May-15-2015 Stepping up from 08G-P4-6581-KR USA Still waiting in queue Update 5-25-2017 I see the GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition GAMING have been in stock for a few days now and still no email from EVGA for my stepup availability. I'm NOT complaining... just wondering why the cards in stock and not available for stepup? Is it an allocation thing?? certain % for retail and another percentage for stepup??

I used UPS Ground for $25 with insurance or $13 without. I'd personally not take the risk and pay the extra to insure your card.

true, I'm definitely going to insure. I'm gonna see what a large flat rate USPS will cost this time (I didn't use flat rate last time) since that's two-day shipping. The faster it gets there, the faster I get the Ti back
