Just so others know: Also, newegg has always sold the K|ngp|n cards in the past. If there was multiple tiers of cards, they only sold the lowest tier available.

K|NGP|N is far nicest iCX type graphic card. Maybe someone don't like but PCB is attractive as well, I would be proud with such card. I would like and similar motherboard in complete...

ZeroAffex I'm not very excited with the kingpin 1080 ti honestly having seen the tear down from gamer nexus and jayztwocents vid with kingpin himself, just seems like we hit a brick wall with the ti's and even kingpins can't deliver much more than a guaranteed clock for it. Others pointed out 2150 being max and even on water I seriously doubt you'll exceed much more than that, you'd think if Kingpin could, he would of bragged since he used LN2 or hinted at it. "Like yea Jay, I hit 2250 with LN2" You'll just end up with a more stable clock of course but for how much? New GPU's are around the corner too and already looking to beat out the 10 series badly if rumors hold true (16gb vram). 1080 ti's seem to be shaping out to be duds compared to the likes of the 980TI which today still holds value and can meet most demanding games. Not raining on parades here, just didn't see anything in the kingpin to go "WOW.. That's amazing! Saving up now!" Just an interesting looking card, copper plated heatsink with custom spreaders, some cool connectors to monitor voltages with my multimeter and rest is what you'd expect from ftw3. Doesn't seem worth paying to get a clock speed guarantee and a name "kingpin". It's still got some time before it releases, so things can change of course, who knows!
Actually he hit 2400 with LN2. You can see it on Jacobs twitter here: https://twitter.com/EVGA_JacobF/status/869114453132017664/photo/1 And really aren't new GPU's always just around the corner and always looking to beat out the current ones? Not saying that the Kingpin is worth it myself, although I do think it is a nice card, but I don't think there is any denying that it is going to be the top 1080ti out there.

"July" is like the closest thing I've heard, well only thing about your questions really. I really do hope the wb will be offered alongside the release of the card, or that 3rd party manufacturers have one by then.

Gamers Nexus has it in about a month, possibly into July in their Computex article. Can't come soon enough! I'm getting offers on my 970, but I need a GPU until this arrives.

I received yesterday my two FTW3s and i am happy with them. The Kingpin would be nice to have no question.. I installed atm only one Card and it runs without a front fan in case (its not the case for both TIs) between 65-70 Degrees. The cards runs out of the box @1898Mhz thats ok for me - the card is a little louder than my Gainward GTX 980TI Golden Sample, but its ok too (better than most TIs). I paid for both cards including taxes, transports +347€ more than Titan xp cost atm (€1.289,00 NV lowered the price). I would say perfect buy (using the cards not only for gaming/premiere and AE with lots of 3d plugins too). But i would prefer the Kingpin over the Titan xp too and this with a better price too (i think) ;)

Off course FTW3 are great model as well. I like most K|NGP|N, but FTW Hybrid is more for me, K|NGP|N is model most respected and famous in overclocking world among people who push card to the max. Interesting is and EVGA Founders Edition + New EKWB kit 240 + GPU block. But K|NGP|N is nicest iCX card, contrast between heatsink and black shroud is amazing. You can't find nothing similar on other models. Check this... K|NGP|N have so beautiful details and I could imagine how customers will be happy, some people enjoy and play games on them few years, 2-3. Most important thing for gamers is fact that she is faster than NVIDIA TITAN Xp. We could talk about lower memory bandwidth, crippled chip but she give better performance than TITAN Xp out of box and that's only important for gamers. Higher fps than TITAN Xp and far coolder, not as Hybrid but much colder than turbine. Bad because it's not possible to see PCB, she is interesting inside even more.

You obviously have not used a TitanXp. Even on air with the reference cooler there is a very big difference between the Titan Xp and the top AIB 1080 Ti cards.

You are talking about cost in a Kingpin Thread lol. From the last generation I have both Maxwell Titans and 82% ASIC Kingpin 980 Ti cards, the comical thing is the Titans were cheaper than the Kingpins.:D:)

Answered my own post with a youtube clip posted in this thread. So yep.. confirmed. This will officially be the only pascal card sold retail that will allow us to change the core voltage out of the box. Suck it nvidia and your crappy imposed limits and crappy locked bios. -FINALLY- we get a -REAL- Pascal card coming for sale. I had a pretty good idea it was worth waiting to see what the tail end of pascal offered.

Supposedly it was "mentioned" in one youtube video (the unlocked bios), but I've been messaging everyone at MSI, Jayz, all the youtube personalities, and no one will get back to me to confirm if the MSI Lightning will even let us change voltage at all. Where as At least the EVGA 1080 Ti Kingpin is confirmed it will with the USB header connector.

Have you seen the price for the 1080ti KPE? Oh.. no? Ok. Guess we will wait and see what the price difference is this gen. Asic doesnt matter, so that wont have a single drop of impact on pricing. Vince has always found slightly better performance than other cards, because he adjusts the timings of ram and other features that noone else touches. Buying the 82%+ cards was a bad idea for anyone staying on air or water anyway. If you could justify that price for no guaranteed overclock, then you had money to waste and just wanted that status.

So much comedy here. I have yet to see any legit proof this card is what the marketing is half, awkwardly hyping it to be. Where are the ln2 runs showing this card pictured, clocks, and voltages used??? I will surely eat humble pie, if i am wrong, but with a imminent release and none of this proof.......
