Why in eu.evga.com my state is:

Queue Complete: Pending
Processed Payment: Pending
Received: Pending
Shipped Out: Pending
Shipping Method: N/A
Tracking Number: N/A

And evga.com:

Step-Up Queue: In Queue
Processed Payment: Pending
Received: Pending
Shipped Out: Pending
Shipping Method: N/A
Tracking Number: N/A

OMG!!!!

In Queue, means this: It means like everyone else, that you are in line, but that You have a Secure place now with Evga.
Pending: Means that Evga will ask for Step's 1 and 2 being 1 of them that you had to have had Product Registered with the 5 year warranty extension, if you haven't already.  2) Everyone must Upload their products Invoice to Evga.com Unless they bought their product from Evga.com only.

After all of that everyone will get step 3) Which they will ask you for your Payment method.

4) After your Payment has been ok'd, the Number 4 will have you Ship your current Gpu.

5) After EVGA has gotten't your Product that people want to Step-up from and Only that Gpu, then Evga will send you you New Step-up Gpu.

Hope that helps.

Oh, I literally just called them and they said if I make the payment now that I can call them before I send mine out and they'll change the shipping for me to overnight. Earlier when I said ground, I forgot to say regular shipping which was longer than I wanted to wait. But yeah, they were real cool with telling me how easy it is to just call in and pay the difference before they send it out

Really good to hear, I should have remembered to tell everyone to call Evga, and am sorry i forgot to. I dropped the ball on that, sorry guys. But for anyone else that can still do it, i would recommend people to call Evga about their shipping Options as long as their new Gpu has not already shipped.

I should Tell people why Evga uses fast UPS ground service, as was told to me from an Official in La Brea,  California here. Evga-Tech said that the reason for them doing the high-cost to Ground shipping is because it is more rare for anyone to want to wait longer by using a cheaper method of shipping by UPS. EVGA is always getting phone calls from Customer from either it be Step-up's or from people ordering their Gpu's online. It doesn't matter where on this Earth they are, they just want Now heheh.

So that is the biggest reason why they try to get the most expensive/Fastest UPS delivery service available, because face it, none of us are usually patient lol. By the way, this is what Evga told me years ago to.

I saw reports of people saying $60 and $70 overnight?

No thanks.. I'll pay the $10 and wait 2 extra days.  If I was on the east coast I'd probably be less patient.

I paid $22 for next business day. Pretty reasonable IMO.

Yeap, mainly because end of the day, for the whole Step up, all im paying is total Shipping costs, which basically came down to $37 for me. Worth it.

Sweet, can't really get better than that unless you had won fee shipping then heheh.

My Ti is sitting at the sort facility in Knoxville and I have it on will call to pick up tomorrow. Too bad I had to work today or I could have gotten it this morning. I guess one more day isn't going to kill me😁

Very bad timing on getting mine but I'll make due. Working 5pm to 5am and I can't pick it up till 8 or 8:30. So I'll either have to stay up and go get it or try to sleep soon as I get home and set an alarm for about 9 and pick it up (15 minute drive only) then either try my best not fight the urge to go ahead and put the block on and drain my loop, etc or be smart and go back to sleep so I'm not dead by the time I go back to work at 5. I'm betting I'm up all morning getting it ready and in my system. I don't think I can fight it,lol.

I hope everyone got their shipping Insurance here, because if it does get lost then sometimes it could be your fault, i don't know how the rules are now though.

Also, i just saw about 45 minutes ago where in Bold Red that people can at least no longer pick up their purchase at Evga La Brea, and before i remember at least for me Customer service didn't mind if i did come over and pick up my Gpu, so there goes that...............

It's always been 90 days since the day you bought your Gpu to be able to Step-up w/ exception of the extra 30 more days for people that got New iCX. You should be approved if your still in the 90 day window, or the 90 day +30 days if you paid that $99.00 for an ICX upgrade then you should be able to do a Step-up.

If you Click on the Member title on the top of the page here, then Click on My Products, it will tell you what cards you can step-up to and how many days you have also.

I understand that i am in the queue. My question is  if there is anyone out there that has gone to step 2 of the queue since being put into the queue on 3/18 or afterwards.

So im just wondering how long the wait is for anyone who has stepped up at the same time as me and has gotten to step 2 ( 1080Ti reserved )

I saw reports of people saying $60 and $70 overnight?

No thanks.. I'll pay the $10 and wait 2 extra days.  If I was on the east coast I'd probably be less patient.

If you think that's crazy, and some do and some don't, but for those that have done Sli or have gotten' separate Gpu's as much as 1 day later then shipping would by multiplied 2x $120.00, $140.00- 200.00, etc, and those people are hard-core Gpu enthusiasts. Usually people that by Gpu's like this Ti models and SC's and FTW's want their cards within' 24 hours if they could, and that's why Evga's shipping default is always the faster shipping method. Of course they don't have special Air to Ground and that could be because of insurance reasons where some Air carriers that I personaly know of including Evga can be a gamble, as some people get other people's most expensive freight crushed.

It can be a very big Catch 22. Did you try calling Evga. Sometimes people can change their shipping before it ships if they Call Evga.

I wouldn't call it crazy... I just think it's a bit much to save a day or two... but that's just me.

I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and see... they haven't charged my card yet.

I paid $22 for next business day. Pretty reasonable IMO.

Of course it is... and how close are you to Brea, CA?  LOL....  I'm gonna call tomorrow and check but I'd wager it's at least $50.

I'm only saying that because ground alone was $21 to send the card back to them yesterday.

I honestly don't remember what the next day cost was when I did the step up stuff on the 10th... but I'm gonna call and see.

Another problem though is they are set to receive the card on Thurs... ship Friday maybe?  Overnight delivery on Saturday?  If they don't deliver Sat and it's Monday anyway I don't see the point.  I'll just keep it ground and get it Tuesday.

Yeah, i don't think it is always crazy to pay the shipping cost for a good overnight shipment. I did say that in the thread lol, i don't want anyone po'd at me heheh, plus i have used overnight myself and a lot of other people have had to use UPS overnight because they didn't have any Gpu to use, so they didn't have a choice but to use overnight.

Oh yeah, also for anyone that might not remember, UPS does Not ship on Saturday and Sundays

All good man... LOL... yeah, the Sat/Sun thing is the dealbreaker for me because even if they do ship Friday I'm stuck till Mon/Tuesday and I was better off paying the $11 ground.  Bad timing I guess.

I actually do have a GPU to use, the 7700k... which is why I'm not the least bit stressed about waiting a few days.  Having just built my PC I don't have a huge game library yet.  It's mostly non-demanding old school stuff like Galaga and PacMan from Steam... as well as GTA5.

All are still 100% playable... even GTA5 on low settings.  (I heard that game is more CPU intensive anyway)

Don't need the GPU for my daily video encoding either... it's all 7700k.

I'll start putting together the AAA game library once the Ti shows up.  :) :) :)

Just grabbed the 7700k upgrade myself to go with my ti yesterday and replaced my 6600k with it, it'll be my 'gpu' for a good 5 days or so.
We can always overclock it for a few extra frames :P

LOL yeah... and let me clarify what I said about GTA5.  While it is still playable it's playable at a low resolution on low settings.  The first time I loaded it in 4k it was a 2fps slideshow.

The Oculus Rift is parked and that kinda sucks because VR is wicked cool... but everything else I built my PC for I can still do with the 7700k running the graphics.   :)
