United States

1. Requested - March 31st
2. Approved/Paid - April 7th
3. Shipped 1080 iCX - April 8th
4. Received 1080 Ti - April 17th

Thank you EVGA! I bought a 980 Ti Classified and stepped up to a 1080 ACX 3.0 (base model). Purchased the 1080 iCX upgrade, and now I'm stepping up to a 1080 Ti. Seriously, what other company would do that?

I bailed on a step up from a 1050 Ti that only took a couple weeks. Keeping it as a backup. I used it during the 1080 FTW to FTW2 ICX exchange and it's a great inexpensive card.

Waiting on the 1080 FTW2 to Ti upgrade to go through but don't expect it for a bit since I just submitted yesterday.

FE only if you going from lower tier card like 'ordinary' 1080. But if you bought 1080TiFE then there is good chance for a step-up to custom PCB.

Custom cards only get added to the list under extreme circumstances. Currently, there is no circumstance that would warrant a custom card to be added. Reference boards only.

I am hoping they allow the normal pcb with the dual fan cooler instead of the Founders cooler, Founders just runs too hot for my tastes.

Wooo my FTW is already airlifted into Germany.

Because of various commitments which surfaced lately I know I won't start building by mid June at earliest. Still I just can't wait.

Well its how it works. Majority of folks which step-up to FE will mount waterblocks anyway (my humble self included) so reference cooler is a non-issue.

I'm from UK and was quite relieved I only had to post my card to Preston, a lot cheaper(and hopefully quicker) than going to Germany from here!  That said I missed the post on Friday and so it'll probably be Tuesday at the earliest :(

Those that sent via USPS, did you just put the ICX box into a Medium Flat rate box? Was there room for padding around it? I'm getting the ICX today and want to send back ASAP so wanted to see what the best method was (I'm not even going to open the card).

i used a medium USPS flat rate box. i put my old GPU back in the original static bag, surrounded that with some cardboard pieces, and then packed that into a medium flat rate box with some old airbags cushioning from other Amazon packages. worked just fine.

Cool, thank you! I wasn't planning on taking it out of the box, but that may be easier for shipping purposes.

That was quick. Submitted on Thursday, got the approval on Saturday. Since it's for a second machine I'm taking the slow poke ground route but should see it by the end of the month.

I got my Hybrid kit the first day EVGA put them on sale. I lucked out.

The noise and temps with the stock blower cooler are terrible. Running this card now with the Hybrid, temps are 45C and a stable 2012mhz under full load.

I took the icx box out of evgas shipping box and just tossed it right into the medium flat right, put a little padding around it to keep it from sliding around and shipped it back to them.

Do NOT hold your breath...

(You do know that that will never happen right? EVGA almost never releases specialty cards to the step up program, let alone a halo model)

Will it always be FE only? It would be nice in a few months to go for a FTW or hybrid.
