Its not a classic RMA, its step-up. With ordinary RMA you send only item in question. For new cards you send everything back excluding promotional items like posters or stickers. All accessories and original box. If you do not have original box or something contact support first and clearly state what you have. Otherwise your 'step-up RMA' may/will be rejected on arrival.

I'm guessing you shouldn't do it. S/N sticker will be different than on the card. Like I've said contact support and ask/explain. Guys are very helpful and if they know about something in advance there is no problem.

My box packed and waiting for a trip to send it. Just used ton of bubble wrap on top of original box, so even most hamfisted courier guy (think Ace Ventura movie ) can't screw a thing. LOL

So far it has been a painless process for me. Of course, I live within an hour of the RMA department... Any shipment option I choose and it always get it the same day it actually ships- at least, that was what happened with my FTW to FTW2. As for the Ti, just dropped it off on Tuesday and it should arrive tomorrow if I have my estimations correct.

I am just happy EVGA honored the MSRP of the FTW2 before the $100 1080 price drop. Just 60 to upgrade to a Ti? Didn't see any reason not to.

Mine came 'adult signature required'.  I don't remember having to request it.  It came UPS Ground.

I was a nitwit, again, for not going for the Step-up sooner. Just now decided to go for it, but I guess I'll be waiting a while for acceptance. I don't know why I kept hoping, beyond hope, that an ACX-cooled 1080ti would be available for Step-up. D'oh!

Hi, I considered buying the 1080 Ti Hybrid AIO but I'm not sure if the tubing will be long enough to fit in my case. I have an H440 and i need to put the fan at the very top spot, closest to the power button (GPU is in first slot of mobo which is ASUS Maximus Hero VIII) and so I'm not too sure what to do. The tubing is 400mm or 15.75 Inches. Please help.

Motherboard: Asus ROG MAXIMUS VIII Hero
CPU: i7 6700k 1.24V @ 4.4Ghz
GPU: 1080 Ti FE (Self) Hybrid +190 Curve/+500
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2
Mouse: Roccat Kone XTD
Keyboard: Razer Ornata Chroma (Mecha-Membrane)
Monitor: Asus PG279Q 27" (2560x1440 IPS G-Sync 165Hz)
Headphones: HyperX Cloud II Black/Red

FE only if you going from lower tier card like 'ordinary' 1080. But if you bought 1080TiFE then there is good chance for a step-up to custom PCB.

I am not sure I understand your response here. There is no limit to what card you come from as long as you meet the Step Up guidelines. We can Step Up from any qualifying card to any card on the availability list...

Only really things you would need to send would be the power adapters and the box. Posters and Stickers you can keep.

Custom cards only get added to the list under extreme circumstances. Currently, there is no circumstance that would warrant a custom card to be added. Reference boards only.

I used the original black plastic tray and antistatic bag it came in. I cut a piece off the sides of the tray because it wouldnt fit in a flat rate large box. It fit mine snugly. It wont go anywhere left or right. Then I put either air bags on the top and bottom so it wouldnt move up or down despite it not moving without those airbags. Then I put the foam pad it came with the 1080, the one that was covering the top, taped it to the top side where the gpu is visible. Then more padding on top of the foam.
