Will it always be FE only? It would be nice in a few months to go for a FTW or hybrid.

If you look at previously offered Step-Ups you will not see anything other than the reference cards. Unless of course it was for the 10** ACX to iCX but that's a special occasion that SHOULD never happen again. So tbh, just go for the 1080 Ti FE and buy a Hybrid AIO if you're bothered by sound or heat.

Would it be ok if I used 6x120mm fans intake and 1x140mm fan exhaust? It would work best with my setup as there are 7 spots for fans (6 are taken atm) and after getting the 1080 Ti Hybrid, i would fill them all up. The 140mm at the back is exhaust. 2 on top (further back) and 3 front all intake. So the last spot is under the power button, which I feel like would make bad airflow as some air would go straight in and straight out around the power button. What should I do? Is it still fine to use the fans specified above? Also would it even fit at the top? I used a ruler to mesure out 12x12 cm and I don't think it'll fit another 120mm Radiator even if the case specs say it'll fit a 360mm Radiator cause radiators are longer than specified.

I wonder how long does it take on invoice review. I did the ICX upgrade for the step up so my ICX is directly from evga, no invoice upload. I got the email about step 2 yesterday morning, still nothing today.

That's some crazy positive pressure setup you'd wind up with. Any other spots for air to escape? With 6 fans inbound you wouldn't really need an exhaustive fan.

With so much positive pressure you can sleep well even without any exhaust fans. However if you have no waterblock for motherboard then exhaust fan is still good idea as VRMs get really hot and something that will channel hot air from that region (exhaust fan) is always good. However try to rotate fans on top to exhaust. It is much easier to exhaust hot air upwards than to push it down (there is a risk that top intake fans will grab at least some exhaust air and pump it back inside) or sideways. In general neutral pressure is nothing bad as long as airflow is balanced across every important area.

You can very easily check where air is moving in your case. Take some candle or other harmless smoke and investigate.

I have 10 intake fans (6 140mm fans on a 420mm radiator in push/pull and 4 120mm fans on a 240mm radiator) and 1 exhaust fan (120mm on a 120mm radiator). Works fine for me with no heat problems. I also have no dust!

If I were doing it, I'd change the top two fans to exhaust, (heat rises), and then use the 140 mm spot on the back for the radiator and exhaust the warmed air from the AIO cooler out of the case.

You can have too much of a good thing.  Positive pressure is compression which can cause air to warm up, especially if it's circulating around in the case trying to find a way out.  That turbulence can cause heating due to friction.

Yea that may delay things alittle. I live 6 hours drive from the Evga place in Germany they are shipping from so would be alittle annoyed if it's not here in a day or 2.

Got approved for the TI4 days ago but didn't get the inbound ICX upgrade until today.  It fit perfectly in a Flat rate Medium Priority box so EVGA will get it Friday.  Hopefully they will process it in time to ship the new card out on Monday and I'll have it before the weekend.

Thanks again EVGA.  Super stoked!  SLI 108o Tis!!!!
