I just got my kp two days ago. But my kp pump is making high frequency noise. In PX1,both temperature curve and manually setting can't control Fan #1(VRM fan), Fan #2 (radiator fan )is working fine. Also the water flow has always been 900,so i guess noise came from pump.

One can see water flow?

Temps?

How do you have the rad installed? Water lines top or bottom on rad?

Temps: 30 ℃ or lower
Top and bottom both tried. Also tried radiator set top/front of PC case. All uesless.......

Prob air bubbles guessing. Try it again with water lines on the bottom so any air gets trapped at the top of the rad. May take awhile for any air to move to the top of the rad where one would want it stuck. Not at the card/pump.

If it sounds like this - this is NOT air and pump itself:

Welcome to club.

After installing kingpin,a pump appared in AIsuite3 ,but cannot be adjusted like your video.
What shall I do? I found some old information, which mentioned magnet trick. Is it effective?
Thx for welcome,I just sold  AORUS and buy kingpin

I mean "omg-why-is-pump-so-noisy?" club :)

Magnetic trick is dangerous because you don't have actual pump control and you can stop it without knowing it.
Pump is always present in AI suite because it is not "gpu pump" but pump header (up to 3A/36W) on your motherboard. To control pump via ai suite you need to connect it to motherboard and you can do it with a simple mod:
https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2993217

So you need "mini-4-pin-gpu to 4-pin-fan-header" cable.

So the true solution is buy a waterblock, but I can't find a place to buy now

well, if there is custom waterloop in your system - yes, you can try to use waterblock and AFAIK only evga makes waterblocks for kingpin.
if not - just remove shroud, place a wire and connect pump to motherboard to control it via ai suite or bios.

Have you tried tipping the case so the card is vertical? Do that while gaming or when benchmarking so the pump is working fast to hopefully flush out any possible air trapped in the pump to the rad.

If it's not an air problem and it is pump you need to contact evga.. I'd do it by phone to get an rma going right away so yo< can get a new card in return.

Yeah,I just tried every position I could imagine, about 10min ago. I sent an email to customer service in Taiwan, but they seems didnot catch the point about noise.

Temps at the moment on load?

Noisy pump would be a sign of a bad pump.

Did you make a video of it to send to them?

One can get a ek universal block to fit but it wont cool the mem or vram area.

But still.. even if you can get a block it still would be a bad deal to pay all that money for a bad cooler. They should be replacing it.

You can use the same block without doing the extra mod to use the aio bracket to also cool the ram.

Just make sure to order the other bracket as the default one that comes with the block wont fit the card mount holes.

In last mail i send a video, but the most annoying thing about noise is its high frequency, not the volume level》
It's not pleasant to pay about $2000 for a bad cooler kp instead of the best quiet and powerful graphics card I imagined.
Ek universal block is not the perfect solution. TRYing RMA and waiting for Official waterblock resale. Besides noise, kingpin is an excellent graphics card in all aspects. Unless no other choice, I don't want to change it

Why you don't want connect pump to your motherboard?
High frequency noise comes because of pump high rpm: pump is running 100% always. But you can lower rpm and lower noise from it.

stop

something strange,in normal BIOS,hybridfan speed range 0-48,but my card always 50%. In OC BIOS, VRM fan should be always ON, my card still stop at idle.
I can plug to my MB, but I still think there is something wrong with my card, makeing me gets very upset

He shouldn't have to do that. This is not a common problem and first I've heard of a loud pump from a kingpin.. meaning bad pump. 2k.. do a work around.. no thanks!

Make sure your removing the power cord from the psu and draining all power from the system y pressing in the power button on your case for like 15-20 secs to drain all the capacitors.

Then flip the bios switch on the card. Then power back up.

You might even need to reinstall px1 as it may not recognize the change.

But it is the same pump that running in hybrid versions of ftw3/xc?... It can't be quiet due to high rpm and the fact that card can't control its speed.

Possibly coil whine crossed my mind as well because a noisy pump is usually a lower buzzing sound.

Run it to break it in.. some attempt to change psu's as the possible cause. Some limit frame rate to stop it. Usually high frame rate causes it.
