I have super nova g2 1000w psu recently I've started to get issues when pc wakes from sleep & very ocatinally when restarting I basically get a black screen and all fans run at 100% reset pc then all seems good I've been in touch with asus mother board man who told me to enable s4 + s5 done this things seem better but as a result have lost the ability to charge a device then pc switch off and none of the rgb light work when off. I used the test plug on my psu and the fan all spinns up as it should any help would be appreciated

Seems odd that the PSU would cause a random issue. Normally they are more of every boot and the issues are mostly no power not the fans running at 100%.

You should list all the hardware, motherboard BIOS and OS you're running, and if anything is overclocked.

But for starters I'd say to make sure you have the latest BIOS installed from the ASUS product/support page for your motherboard and you're using default/non-overclock settings.

Possibly. Wouldn't hurt to test with another one.

Could be because of your overclocks. Set everything to default and retest.

Flash to the latest BIOS (Version 3006 as of now) if needed.

If you already have the latest BIOS, enter BIOS and press F5 to load optimized default settings, then Exit -> Save Changes & Reset.

Roll from there.

When "ErP Ready" in the BIOS -> APM Configuration is set to "Enabled (S4+S5)" or "Enabled (S5)" the RGB lighting will be turned off..To fix it, go into the Onboard Devices Configuration -> RGB Lighting and simply turn them on again if you want ErP Enabled for some reason, then Exit -> Save Changes & Reset..Easy peasy.

With ErP Enabled you will lose USB charging for mobile phones (or whatever) and may lose wake from keyboard/mouse/LAN and other functions..Just disable ErP.
