Just as the title suggests, I’m hoping to order one as they’re currently selling for $100 each price converted where I live. I’m switching out to a Kraken Z73 that I got on a really good deal so I thought it’d be kinda cool to have an NZXT build.

I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this combination as I’ve had compatibility issues with both the Thermaltake Core P90 and the Fractal Define 7. Online, many individuals have had issues mounting the Z690 EVGA boards due to the thick backplate and the overall large form factor.

I just don’t want to order one and have there be a conflict as we can’t do free returns where I live. Thanks in advance :).

Unfortunately, the width seems to be a little wider than the case will support, via NZXT's user manual (277mm vs 272).

I did notice the max width support, but I think the cut-out in the PCB near the 24-pin and EPS allows for cabling, and I did see someone fit a Z490 Dark in one on Reddit, which suggests that width isn’t actually an issue. My main concern is the backplate. I noticed that the Z690 is the first variant that shipped with one, and my main issue with the P90 and the Define 7 was that the stand-offs simply could not reach.

Some made contact but others appeared to be seated incorrectly and perhaps not contacting the PCB at all. I know some individuals have managed to fit the Dark into cases such as the 900D and the Meshify 2 XL, but I have relatively limited access to cases so I was really hoping the stand-off issue would not occur with the H710i. I guess the only way to know is if someone out there has tested this.
