Are you looking to rma your motherboard? If yes, I could send evga an e-mail to let them know you need assistance. Only problem with rma'ing a board that old is that they may not have one available to replace it with, so they'll end up sending you a newer chipset other than x58.
that would surely help i think. Yeah such a shame to have no use for this classified ek blocks

I'm glad so much you fixed X58 Classified.
X58 motherboards are very rear and expensive in my region.
People chase Xeons with 6 cores and they serve great for new games and cost less then 40-50$.
But motherboards are rear and expensive.

i dont think they are rare ,but some guys sell them for 150+$ same with x79 motherboard,people must realise that those are old hardware and are not worth that much,you must be patient and you can find a good deal even on ebay.
if you have all the hardware to build a pc ,its worth to buy a used motherboard and build a pc ,but i would not pay more than 100$

Ryzen 2600 and B350 should drop massively in price a lot in a couple of weeks. I think they will hit the last nail in the coffin for X58 where, as someone mentioned before, the CPU's are dirt cheap but the boards very expensive and tend to get problematic due to age - also no PCIE3.0, NVMe/M.2 etc.

pcie is not that a problem,usb3 you can add a pcie card,for nvme you can go with an old samsung 950 pro or there are some tool you can use .but yes still the boards are expensive.
