This just started tonight. First on the file explorer window then it showed up on my firefox browser. I opened 3dmark to run a test and it went through without issue and not a single artifact. I go back to firefox then tab back to 3dmark and the 3d mark window only is covered in them. Running newest nvidia drivers and haven't recently installed them either as it's been a good solid week + that I know of since the last update.

I also noticed a time or two for no reason the screen went black then would come back again and a bit later go black then come back again also. This was prior to running Timespy.

Looks like it may be starting to go. Could also be a DSC issue. If your monitor supports DSC turn it off.

LG 42" C2PUA Don't think it has DSC. Unless they don't list it on the spec page and it's named something else in settings.
I've been using the same display since September '22 with no changes to it's settings or anything on my gpu since then.

Haven't noticed it doing it anymore since last night. Might have just been some odd fluke or a sign of things to come who knows. Obviously wasn't doing anything graphically intensive as I just had dual firefox windows open and file explorer as I was playing some flac music in vlc media player. First noticed the little squares on the file explorer screen then my right firefox pane. If I scrolled the window they would move with the page so it's not like it was a multi pixel issue with my screen. I should double check I have dual display turned on in my boards bios just in case it does crap I can still get a picture without having to clear the cmos. LOL
