Cool GTX
I do not know if their is a specific "Sale Page" - aka - "Mid Week Madness"  for the EU

the link I gave does show many GPU that are on sale

Might have to ask EVGA directly   https://www.evga.com/about/ContactUs/

Ill ask in Discord & PM, see if I can get an answer to that

EDIT:  Confirmed --> page I linked is all there is for EU sale

Not a specific "Sale Page" - aka - "Mid Week Madness page for the EU"

Thanks Cool for quick response!
I see, yeah lets wait for the Monday. and otherwise gonna buy the card:D

For purchasing wait until Monday to see if NVIDIA should decide to release any info. NVIDIA has been teasing 'something' for Monday.

Do you think that the new generation cards are huge bump duo the performance?

EDIT:
Chek this link out;
https://www.pcgamer.com/rtx-2080-release-date/

Information suggests a staggered rollout of the 20-series GPUs as follows:

GeForce RTX 2080: August 30
GeForce RTX 2070: September 27
GeForce RTX 2060: October 25

Hi Neutro,

Wooww, Hmmmmm I see,
No really, I'm a little worried to buy EVGA 1080 TI FTW or an other manufactor because in the past they had heat issue with the thermal pads so im little bit worried to get an card that has much trouble.
How is the overall expierence of EVGA cards? are they compared to other manufacters better?
How is your findings/expierence on that?

Gues what Neutro, ghehe, I have already my CPU watercooled! with an custom loop!!! I'm totaly agree with you buddy.
Here take an look at my CPU custom watercooled

Nice PC Hot ;)

As I told you I never owned an EVGA GFX card. However I own an EVGA motherboard for 10 years now (literally) and it's working flawlessly since all that time.

Plus look at this forum, EVGA techs are often there to help out people outside the regular support channel and EVGA even go to give money to people that help others in the forum... I've never seen that anywhere else!

In France EVGA has a strong reputation about quality and people are usually looking for this brand rather than another.

So I don't know about the EVGA 1080 TI FTW because i never owned one or got interested into that particular model but as I told you, since you have a custom loop WC if you buy this card and you put a custom full cover waterblock on it i'm pretty sure you'll have 0 problems with it.

And even if you do, you know that the EVGA support is top notch so 0 worries!

The only spot in this picture is that i find it sad that EVGA doesnt sell GFX card directly mounted with a waterblock, they sell the waterblock separately and i've seen pictures of these waterblocks with thermal pads which i'm not a big fan of (i prefer using thermal paste instead for better heat transfer).

Some other manufacturers sell cards with a waterblock directly mounted on them so you can just plug them on your WC and you're good to go. But if you know how to build a custom WC loop it's not a big deal, just consumes a bit of time!

Woow that is such long time. I dindt even know that EVGA support was going so far international.. and even help others in other chanels/forums. That's really nice!

''you know that the EVGA support is top notch so 0 worries!''
By saying this I'm totally sure to get an EVGA 1080TI FTW3! there support of the EVGA I read it everwhere its very very good.
What about the warrenty? if you buy the normal GTX 1080 FTW 3 gaming / elite edtion and you dismantle the card and put an full cover Watercool block on it, does it have still warrenty? most of the company's the warrenty will be voide.

Hello,

As of now there is no information as to new products being lunched. If you chose to buy an EVGA graphics card or motherboard product you can enroll to the EVGA step up program. That is valid for 90 days, by clicking here this will take you to a page that will give all the information on the step up program. In short with in the 90 days of the purchase you can pay the difference between the product you bought and what you looking to get only if it is a qualifying product.

I ended up getting one JUST before it was announced they would be shown on the 20th. The reason? EVGA ran a special for some 1080ti's under list price by $50, with no tax for me and free shipping, I figured a smart buy. The Card I have now was starting to MAYBE give me grief so I figured why nowI know I will have 72 days as of Monday when the new cards are announced from Nvidia. EVGA gives full value for my card and I just pay the difference if and when I upgrade. Maybe it will not be THE best of the best coming out but I can certainly upgrade to a new card within that time.

And Yes I did register my card and uploaded the EVGA invoice, I did it as soon as I received the card as to not ruin my chance to step-up. Maybe I should have waited but at least I have SOME protection.

I'll most likely pass since I have two 1080 Ti's in SLI.

Keep in mind their guidlines say the step up is for founders editions cards. How true is this? Let’s say evga releases their own models a month later will they not be in the step up or at least some? FE just run too hot

Here's the thing too... Even when they are officially announced, when will they REALLY be available, what will they REALLY cost vs. possible inflated markup due to the market. There are a whole lot of questions. I would guess 10 series will be "end of lifed" PRETTY darn fast... With my Video GPU possible dying (video artifacting some of the time on SOME programs) I was really caught with what to do. It was driving me NUTS... When I saw the $649 deal I figured rightly OR wrongly in a worst case scenario I will just step up. Will it be the BEST new card of the series when available, OR COURSE NOT... BUT it does allow me an upgrade path to the newer tech in a reasonable manner. I have stepped up once before and it was a smooth painless process. I have never used SLI, though IF the rumor about shared memory IS true it may make me rethink that in a darn hurry!  I played what I believe to be the best hand I had... 2 weeks ago. I missed an even better deal as they are now tossing in Powerlinks AND a PSU for the same $649... There was no way I could possible predicted that given this market. But at the very least, I know I got the best price possible at the time. There are MILLIONS of people waiting all over the world for these cards to come out. I see nothing on the RED side of the competition as my current card is an AMD Fury upgraded from a 780Ti and AT that time 3 years ago at least there was competition and choices. It really amazes me what this has turned into. Nvidia over hype? Over playing a hand? Who knows but until real competition comes along this is the world we live in.

I really hope the cards are around the corner but then again it will be founders editions [I hate hot cards] Does it usually take a month for companies to release their own versions?

Founder edition cards are ok as the water blocks will hit right away if you plan to water cool them.

If not I'm sure there will be hybrid coolers for them as well.

I might do that myself this round as long as it's a evga brand fe.

Though I dont plan on jumping in right away.. may just use 2 1080ti in sli if the future games like BF V and COD will use SLI.

My 5 Cents are: Just get a 1080Ti. Nvidia is asking a stupendous price for the 2080 and 2080ti and the initial mark up will be even higher by retailers.

Now the question is would the 1080Ti price continue to drop or stabilize (rise) after the release of the new ones.

Why are the prices so high? Those new cards are not performing the double amount of the old ones

My guess is because they hold a monopoly over the market at the moment. If you want the best performance you've gotta go to nVIDIA. Not even close competition from AMD. The RX Vega 64 is a massive disappointment. Priced for the 1080ti but performance for 1080 normal. And now with the new generation with a technological advantage in the form of Ray Tracing and AMD nowhere to be heard, they can go with the "Why the f*** not" reason to increase prices :)

And I think the mobile market shows another reason, they are just pumping it as high as it would go, regardless of the product and development cost. Of course maybe the vga is so advance that it costs much more to manufacture, but i doubt that (fare to say, without any facts to support my doubts)

I currently own a 1080ti that makes me pretty happy performance wise. Paired with a 4th generation Intel CPU, everything runs like a dream and no problems with anything at all (at 1080p). I genuinely don't see the benefits of 4k gaming and do not believe the performance hit as justified. Clearly won't get these fancy shadows and reflections that the RTX may offer but hey, we've survived nicely without them and paying double the price for it.

I'm waiting the prices for the 10 generation GPUs to go down so I can think about a SLI setup for my system. Personally if you own a 10 generation card you wouldn't wait for the 20 series especially with those prices.

Considering also with these 2,5/3 slots GPUs a SLI setup is really a challenge.

I bought a 1080 ti ftw3 just last week. If the 2080 non ti is a significant upgrade i might step up.
