All EU queues are on hold right now due to to Paypal issue, not just 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra.

It happened on Friday and Jacob said it will be fixed by Monday, meanwhile 2nd Monday since then already passed. I think he forget that in EU queue everything takes 8 times longer to happen.

Indeed. :(

I called and asked twice, first when it happened on Friday, they said it will be fixed in 1-2 work days then I called again on Wednesday last week and they said it will be done before the weekend. Now its Tuesday, day 11. ;(

I'd hope that EVGA has the strength of character to just go, "Do you know what lads, we made a mistake here and we're going to fix that!"

Good for you for still being optimistic (maybe getting at least one card from the queue helped ).
I wish I could be too, but I think that the EU queue is a lost cause.
I have been wanting to replace my aging RX580 for a while now, but I thought I should wait for the new gen GPUs. With the info I had at the time (about a year ago) it seemed reasonable to wait for the new offerings fron NVIDIA and AMD for a "bang-for-the-buck" mid-range card.
It's bad enough that the MSRP of mid-range cards has been steadily rising, and for a decent upgrade I would now have to pay 450€ (3060 incl tax and shipping) compared to my 200€ RX580 in 2018.
But that price, doesn't exist. I entered the queue for the 3060 at 9:03 and chances are that I will not be getting a card in 2021. So, the actual price of a 3060 from any retailer in my country is 699€ when available.
And I am not willing or able to pay that kind of money for a mid-range card. (I don't even mention even higher scalper prices)
I have come to terms with the reality that unless something major changes (crypto crash) I will not be getting a new GPU, as there is no indication that availability or prices will be better in 2022.
The only reason I still check the forums from time to time is to witness the train wreck that is the EU queue, along with thee non-existant support for EU customers....

100% stiktisya. Your dead right - had I not got a card I'd have a different opinion I'm sure, and I do feel that I'm incredibly fortunate to be able to get a 3090! No, the queue "as an idea", as a way to improve things is 1st class. Sadly it's the implementation that's less than ideal. It's a hard one to get a perfect solution that keeps everyone happy. As much as this might sound odd from someone writing on this forum, as we're generally all supporters of EVGA (mostly), but I wouldn't see gamers anymore "entitled" to a card than say a miner, but at the same time.....EVGA should be rewarding people who have been loyal supporters of their products over the years. They took the first step there......and then tripped over their own feet. Doh!

I did think how can we as customers get our voice heard - and let's face it, no one from EVGA rarely really reads these messages (there are too many, in too many different forum discussions) The only thing I can think of is if enough people raise awareness on the EVGA twitter feed. Something like my old (dates below are NOT up to date....it's an old bitmap I had)

And then have one comment like
      "EVGA - thoughts?"

See if we can get a comment/action out them. Give them an opportunity to correct a wrong here - no need to bad mouth anyone.

@alandoy I agree that name calling and aggression towards EVGA employees can not help the situation in any way or form.
I would also be willing to @TEAMEVGA and @EVGA_JacobF should you or anyone else calmly and respectfully questions EVGA on their queue differences.
But I am not getting my hopes up for 2 reasons:

1)This disparity between US and EU has been known to EVGA for months now and they have shown very little willingness to not only solving the problem, but even acknowledging it.

2)Even if (somehow) this issue gained traction and and EVGA had to address it, we already know what the answer will be. We have seen it numerous times. "PR talk" about real problems that EVGA faces ("There is a global chip shortage", "We are tworking on a solution", "We do have supply for the EU but quantity is limited") that do nothing to address the core issue (the queue DISPARITY)

On the NA side EVGA seems to be ****ing awesome, they are still ok for EU (way better than anyone else at least which I think they should be praised for). I just wish the communication was better, I finally (an hour ago) managed to put down my order for a 3080 Ti but I was supposed to be able to buy it 11 days ago and when I called or emailed during this problematic period the answer was "just wait 1-2 days" but it ended up taking 11. If they would have told me a more realistic ETA I wouldn't have been so stressed about it all. Maybe in the end there are other things than what I know that affected the process but it would be nice to at least get some kind of honest communication and it doesn't require more card availability to happen either.

Either way, I wish everyone the best of luck.

As a developer myself, you often look at a problem and go "ahh yeah, that should be easy enough to fix", but then when you delve in further you realize the problem was more complex than previously thought. What they should have done was after 3-4 days there come back and said it would be additional time and not leave you hanging, but for all we know they might have been waiting for paypal to fix issues on (paypal's) side, and were being told "It'll be tomorrow etc" from the paypal guys.....so they may have been between a rock and a hard place. Still a simple ...
"We got you covered lads, no one will lose their spot in the queue"
would have been all it would have taken.

Enjoy the 3080Ti ! On that queue myself for a 2nd rig I have - yeah I know that sounds terrible.

Certainly things take longer than you first think but any good PM should be able to think "develop says 1-2 days... that means I tell everyone else minimum 6 days". They did actually say noone will lose their spot and for that I am grateful, it was just for my own sake I was sitting on a 3080 I had bought at scalper prices that I need to turn back before the time runs out but without knowing if I could get a new card (that I need for work because game dev) I was in a tough spot. Luckily I now have 1 day more on my return window so I think it will all work out.

But yeah I will definitely enjoy the card, just unsure how long it takes for the card to get delivered but I am sure I can survive that long. :)

You should have have it within the week direct from Taiwan.
The DHL experience was very good as I recall. With the link you get from EVGA , I could see the card working it way through the various DHL distribution centers.....Taiwan for a day or two, then Hong Kong for a few hours, Germany.....UK.. and then finally Ireland for me. 5 days all told and that was over a weekend too. A+ on that side of things! You've done the hard part - the rest is easy :-)

I had a similar timeline for Estonia, ordered Thursday? Friday? and arrived by Wednesday next week. First stop in Europe was Germany, so you might get it really fast :D

I have been saying the exact same. Europe is being ignored.

EVGA has set up a queue system, but only for US/CA shoppers

I contacted Alternate.nl as I have a pre-order with them. They are an official Nvidia partner. They had received a total of 150 cards spread from ASUS, MSI, Zotac, Inno3D, Gigabyte and EVGA combined.

That was their entire stock to serve the 18.000.000 people that live here.

Don’t expect to get a card in Europe before 2021..

As mentioned by Jensen Huang in an interview on TomsHardware; They expect shortage to last till at least early 2021.

We might as well sit this one out till the 20GB 3080 and 16GB 3070 releases are available.

It is funny and interesting to read your post after one year ahah, even if covid seems not to have changed the situation since October 2020.

Are you looking for a specific model? If not, there are GPUs in stock in most places in my country at least, and to my knowledge, most others are the same. You can try messaging rjohnson11 with your country, he's been helping people by finding stores in your area that have stock :)

GPU stock seems to be stable right now and it's not hard to find what you need. try bigger shops like Caseking which has the full RTX 3000 lineup in stock, EVGA cards too

Yes and no. The change back to -KR was a risky move and paid off for some, but won't be paying off in the future as those cards are mostly gone and more won't be coming. Since everyone was auto-transferred to -KL, the few who changed back to -KR at that time got lucky. And now we are just at where the EU queue is anyways - dead. :)

Sorry, i was overwhelmed with emotions at the time of the mail.

No, i did not switch back to KR, that's just what the EVGA mail reported. I did enter the queue on 6/3/2021 8:01:40 AM

LOL - know that feeling :-)
It's encouraging as EVGA Queue Tracker (element35gaming.com) is reporting no move there on that sku since early Sept. Yeah, I like the website and all, but honestly......Bovine did a better job at it (albeit it took a lot more work I'm sure)
enjoy the card Pantalone - just in time for Battlefield!

I just wanted to let everyone know that today Nvidia dropped some FE in EU through LDLC.
Many verified orders atm, none shipped, yet.
Rumors say it will happen again but no news when exactly.
Check your Discord, Telegram or whatever tool you use for drop alerts in the coming days, weeks, if you're interested in FEs.
I ordered myself a 3070 Ti, the moment I can confirm it working, I will drop from (most of) my notifications, for what it's worth being in the EU notify queue. ^^;
I'll keep my watch for a 3070 Ti XC3/3080 XC3 for the time being. A classic 3 fan VGA is much more preferred in a Sentry PC case than the dual inverted fan of Founder's Edition.
IFor the time being, I'm just glad I'm one step closer (I don't want to jinx this till I own it in my hands) to get a 3000 series card.

Yes.

Not 100% clear, are you saying you did the swap back to "KR" then and got a card. If so, well done. Happy for you.

It's a 3080Ti, it doesn't have a KL, it does have LHR tho :p
